For day trips with the little ones, try Eureka! the National Children s Museum, 16 miles; if you re interested in art, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is just 9.5 miles. Inside the beautifully converted cottage you ll find an appealingly light and bright, open plan living area, which has huge windows and glazed doors leading out onto the deck.
