The accommodation is well-equipped and ideal if you are just looking for a place from which to venture out.. I have stayed at The Honeypot twice this year, using it as a base for walking The Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

The Honeypot is lovely holiday accommodation.. Comfortable and clean and in a good central location. The ponies are friendly and the fresh eggs from the hens were gratefully appreciated (as were the homemade welsh cakes!) The private enclosed garden is perfect for our dog. This was our third stay here and we will visit again.

Very family oriented owners.. Chickens and horses to feed, welsh cakes and eggs left on doorstep. Lovely places to visit, especially the beaches at Angle and Tenby. No rain at all for our stay (very lucky). All in all a great place to stay.

The cottage was everything we were expecting when we booked it.. The cottage was clean with all the facilities we needed, while the location was quiet and peaceful. As promised it was very dog friendly, with a good sized yard for our dog to use as needed. Overall we had a lovely time and would happily recommend Sykes,

Very difficult to review this property. Normally I would start with the good points but for this review I'll start with the bad points. The property is advertised as a log chalet but does resemble a large shed on first sight but it is insulated and plastered internally. The bed although not uncomfy squeaks with every movement and moves along the laminate floor during the night. The outer bath panel isn't fitted properly and two of the spar jets don't work and the loo seat is loose so overall spoils what could be a nice bathroom. Bathroom would also benefit greatly from an extractor fan. The hob extractor is so noisy it's unusable and is really needed as we set off the smoke detector on several occasions with just normal cooking steam/smoke. The sofa does need replacing, saggy cushions and not very comfortable at all. Stains on the ceiling from past roof leaks, the leaks have obviously been cured but ceilings have not been painted since. Gaps under both front and back door which let in cold air and wind. Heating is adequate to counter this but obviously would be better if gaps were sorted. Not really bed points but, has and old CRT television and now has an wall mounted electric fire (was not installed when photo's taken) which has melted frame on picture above just cosmetic I know but all adds to a disappointing impression when you first arrive. Good points, Very good location and blissfully peaceful. Supplied towels and bedding, all nice quality and clean. Every thing you could possibly need in regards to kitchen equipment provided and oven and hob worked very well. The outside area would be lovely to sit out in, in good weather. The property was cleaned to a reasonable standard but let down a little in some area's like small amounts of black mould around the bath and oven tray's/tins could be cleaned better So overall we did enjoy our stay and although we wouldn't actually recommend this property we wouldn't say "don't go" either! It was cheaper than some caravan's we had looked at so at the right price it's not that bad and I think armed with the above info it would not be a disappointment.

The property had not been cleaned, was suffering from neglect, The lovely patio area described was a back yard with weeds growing between the paving stones. The decking was raised in places and a trip hazzard. Sink tap was loose in bathroom, toilet flush was broken although this was fixed. Would not recommend, left after 1 week of our 2 week stay. Sykes Cottages do not accept responsibility they just take your money.

The jacuzzi bath was certainly a plus especially when the weather turned cold. Thanks again for the sweet extra of the Welsh Cakes - they were really good! Enjoyed your animals - the horses and even the hungry sheep! The herb garden with the welcoming sign to use it was a wonderful touch.

We were hesitant when we first saw the property as it looked like a big shed rather than a log cabin. But inside the property was clean and tidy and cosy. Kitchen was great and the washing machine/dryer was really handy. All in all it was a lovely stay and the owner made us some homemade welsh cakes which was a nice touch.
