The cottage was cosy and warm.. It had all the facilities you need. It would be nice if towels were provided. We had to go out and buy some as we have found that most places now provide them. Our own fault as towels were not mentioned in the description on the website.

The cottage was lovely and cosy and we would highly recommend it.. The owner lives next door and is very informative on the history of the cottages as they are very old. The cottage had everything that we needed and importantly a very comfy bed. We went for a walk in the grounds as it is in a beautiful woods and the water running through the land is lovely it leads to a waterfall well worth the walk.

We always feel at home whenever we come down to Cornwall, we have made some good friends and everybody seems to welcome you.. in October there is the dark gathering in Boscastle and we were lucky enough to experience the wonderful celebration this year and if like us you are pagan or spiritual minded, it should be a celebration not to miss. Robin is a very nice and approachable owner who will always do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable and without any problems. It is a beautiful setting no matter what time of year you go or what the weather is like. We come down 3 times a year now and have always had a fantastic time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is like stepping into a magical land where magical people live who welcome you into their family with open arms. It will always be our second home and we will always be thankful for finding it.

Was just a truly fantastic place to stay.. It's such a beautiful cottage in a really lovely and picturesque location. It's so tranquil, and still only a short drive away from anything that you might need in Tintangel. Would also like to say a special thank you to Robin, who made us feel so welcome upon our arrival, and who went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Honestly can't recommend this place enough!!

Wow... an amazing place to stay in a beautiful location. Stayed for a week and enjoyed every second. The cottage is very quaint and well equipped. Our dog also stayed and loved the local walks. Walking into tintagel took around 20 minutes. The owner, Mr Evans was extremely helpful and available for any help or advice needed. He even delivered some freshly cut flowers to us! The beds in the cottage were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave! Tintagel is a beautiful part of the country and staying in this cottage made the experience just wonderful. There is also a private walkway along the stream which is amazing. So many thoughtful touches such as providing an iron, games and even shopping bags!!!! So many thanks to Mr Evans for making our stay so enjoyable... we only wish we could stay forever. Thank you!!!!

Everthing we hoped for. The setting is perfect in a secluded valley with stream and woodlands that lead to St Nectan’s Glen. Also just across road is the start of the Rocky Valley walk. Very helpful and friendly owner. Both Boscastle and Tintagel are a few minutes away by car. Hoping to return with rest of family.

April 2018
We come down three times a year now because we love it so much, the weather is always kind to us, the local people are just so welcoming, the scenery is fantastic and everything you need is within spitting distance.. It caters for all as if you like interesting shops there is Tintagel and Boscastle, if you prefer nature's wonders there is St Nectans Glen, if you want beaches and the more commercial there's Bude and plenty of other beaches not too far away, there's plenty of local cafes, pubs and restaurant's to choose from and cover all of your dietary needs. Millers House is like a second home to us now and Robin the owner is a lovely man who will always great you with a welcoming smile and make sure you have everything you need. The world and atmosphere changes as soon as you come through the gate, the busy outside world fades into the trees, the marvellous bird song and sounds of babbling streams. You breath the fresh air in and instantly relax. We wish we could stay forever as we have made some good friends down here but as the Terminator said "we'll be back"

Very quiet and peaceful location, the cottage is quaint and like stepping back in time but still with having everything you need.. The only thing that wasn't mentioned is that no towels are provided so luckily it was only by reading a previous review that we found this out so would be very useful to others if this is mentioned in the listing for the future.

This was our second time here and it definitely won't be the last.. The property is in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of a number of fabulous walks both in the countryside and along the cliffs. We were fortunate to have lovely weather but this part of the world is lovely even in the rain. A relaxing and peaceful holiday we didn't want to end. The owner is very helpful and has a ready supply of logs for the fire! We very much look forward to our next visit.

I have just had an absolutely wonderful week's holiday at Miller's House and I absolutely loved every minute of it.. The cottage is beautiful, really charming with its' beams in the ceiling, log fire and cosy furniture. It was equipped with everything -Everything was spotlessly clean. There are good heaters and radiators in every room so the whole house is super cosy. I brought my beloved cat with me and he was welcomed with open arms and he enjoyed the garden too! And the cosy rooms! The gardens are beautiful, very extensive woodland gardens with trees, a huge lawn, a stream, and lovely walks. I really needed a week's peace and tranquility and this cottage was just perfect for that. In fact I am going to go back again in a month or so! Thankyou so much, I have had a fantastic holiday here, I love it, can't wait to go back again.

Met by the owner and soon made ourselves comfortable. Our dog was also welcome. Very quietly situated just outside Tintagel. No mobile phone reception in the valley though. Cottage would have been better if both rooms were en-suite (e.g. door knocked through from bedroom into bathroom rather than having to come out onto landing), also a bit inconvenient at times to have the wardrobe and drawers on the landing. Other than that a fantastic holiday and really not long enough. Loved visiting all the King arthur connected places. Ideal for visiting both north and south coasts of Cornwall. Would definately stay again. Grounds to cottage were superb and peaceful.

Gorgeous cottage in a fantastic location. Peaceful, beautiful - a real gem. We walked nearly everywhere - up the valley, down the valley, along the coast path, to the beach, to Tintagel. Only took the car out when we ventured further afield - Boscastle, Pencarrow, Port Isaac, Trebarwith. Stunning scenery, fantastic weather - I have never been sunburnt in March in England before! We will definitely be back no matter what the weather.

The cottage location is in a beautiful valley and as sheltered as possible from the prevailing weather conditions. It has access to a wonderful garden complete with fast flowing stream and the shrubs and flowers complement the natural surroundings. The cottage itself is very pleasant to stay in - but do be prepared to use the splendid wood burning stove in winter. This is great fun and the owners provided the fuel from the trees in the garden and we didn't have to cut the logs up ourselves! The dog particularly enjoyed himself with the surrounding walks and learnt how to go up and down the cliff paths and only fell in the stream once. Stout footwear is sensible as the going can be rough on some of the cliff paths. For those with mobility difficulties the National Trust have provided a level path on the cliff top to the south west of Tintagel castle which can be accessed via the road to the church. The views are wonderful here. Tintagel and Boscastle are the nearest locations and are more than adequate for shopping and meals but do remember that Cornwall is very seasonal so a lot of surrounding attractions are only open from Easter to October.

We had never previously stayed in North Cornwall and we very much enjoyed the area as a whole and in particular, the towns of Tintagel and Boscastle were both lovely and had much to offer.. We enjoyed the peace, the scenery, cliffside walks, small enclosed beaches, places to eat, shops and tranquility of the place. The people were delightful and so friendly and the landscapes were truly spectacular. Many of the pubs we ate in were child friendly and gave us an extremely warm welcome and excellent food. We plan to return to this part of Cornwall in March 2008 as it is a lovely location for an out of season family holiday with plenty to offer young children.
