Lovely cottage. Very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Flowers and welcome coffee, tea and milk much appreciated.
The patio is a little suntrap but really needs weeding to make it more appealing to sit out .
We had a wonderful stay in these strange times.
Excellent location.. Easy walk to town centre. Actually nice, quiet and comfortable.
Mr Smallwood, July 2020
We recently stayed at Mayfield Manor which exceeded our expectations.. The pictures do not do it justice as it is nicer than it looks in the pictures. The master bedroom is lovely, and the house was very clean. It is about a 15 minute walk to Whitby, but we didn't find it too bad and at least we could get a parking space. We would definitely go back.
Mrs Birks, July 2020
We loved this house! Everything you need from home to home.
Short walk to the town. Only £6 to get home if you don’t want walk in a taxi.
Parked on the road outside no problem.
Will definitely return

Had a very pleasant stay at Mayfield and would recommend.. Great location to access Whitby.
Mr Davies, October 2019
A very well equipped property.. Comfortable beds, within easy walking distance of the town.
Only one gripe, it could do with a deep clean, attention to detail on socket tops, sash windows need cleaning to remove cobwebs and dead flies.
Nice house comfortable and easy reach into Whitby town centre, only let down is the garden! weeds and dirty table chairs, see into next door ! Unpleasant site ! Also dog poo on patiohorrible
The house was lovely and warm and beds extremely comfortable.. The only thing I would say which didn't affect our holiday was the house was in need of a proper deep clean to remove cobwebs and the general dustiness . Tops of kitchen cupboards are in desparate need to a wash down. The main thing though was the beds which were very clean and comfortable and as previously stated the house was lovely and warm. We were given a key marked summerhouse but there didn't appear To be a summerhouse. I asked at garden centre where key collected and they appeared oblivious also.
Great place to stay, lovely warm and cosy.. loved how they provided towels, coffe, tea etc plus milk and treats for our doggies, great location only 10 minutes walk into Whitby. Highly recommended we will definitely be staying again.
Lovely house, clean and comfortable, had everything we needed.. good location in Whitby, easy to park outside
We had a lovely time.. We appreciated the travel cot and the high chair. Would recommend that they sharpen the knives and maybe add some small knives and weighing scales to the kitchen.
Such a beautiful cottage had a lovely stay nice little garden at the rear of the .... Such a beautiful cottage had a lovely stay nice little garden at the rear of the property oils definitely recommend this to friends n family
Mayfield manor was absolutely perfect 10 minute walk into town spotlessly clean we will definitely return again next year would highly recommend it to anyone thank you very much.. Steve Parkes
The house looked fantastic made for a relaxing holiday.. Kitchen facilities were great, bathrooms and bedrooms very nice. Beautiful furniture. No problems with the WiFi. One complaint is dog hair on carpet from previous guests.
Lovely spacious house with only a short walk into Whitby and surrounding countryside.. The garden area/seating was not very pleasant and could have been cleaner - the only negative comment we could make about the property.
Other than that it was excellent.
Very nice and cosy place to stay, well suited to a big Family or Group, good destination.. Very Happy
Unfortunately there was a problem with the heating.. Every day which had a detrimental effect on our stay as the weather was very cold.
The house was lovely and warm when we walked in and a beautiful Christmas tree was stood in one corner.. We loved it plus was dog friendly and having 3 dogs we struggle to find somewhere nice that will take us!
Only criticism was there was a DVD player but no dvds so we had to go out and buy films. Everywhere I've stayed there are at least a few. Will book again
A great property in a great town.. Excellent facilities and very comfortable - perfect.
The patio area was in poor order weeds and dandelions growing out of control between the concrete slabs

A great place to stay in a good location
Mrs Mellor, October 2016
The main road which can be a little noisy at night especially from the front top bedroom..
We stayed for a weekend and the whole experience was excellent. The accommodation was first class, clean, well decorated and well furnished. We couldn't fault anything.
