Donegal Estuary Holiday Homes on the Wild Atlantic Way offers our Visitors modern bungalows on the outskirts of Donegal town, on the road to the local sandy beach.

Private parking, tennis court, patio and garden furniture on site. There are 5 cottages in total each one with 3 bedrooms. Lounge with open fire, colour tv. Cottages in a mature wooded, peaceful setting. Close to Millpark Hotel, Harvey's Point Hotel, Abbey Hotel and Solis Lough Eske Castle. Ideal base for touring the Northwest which includes the magnificent Slieve League Cliffs, Blue Stack Mountains.

Just a few minutes walk takes you to the beautiful Donegal Estuary with its wildlife and boating.
The cottages are just one mile from the centre of Donegal town.

Visit Donegal Castle or spend a few hours on the Donegal Bay Waterbus which has trips each day to the seal colony and marvel at the magnificent scenery of the inner bay

Donegal has some beautiful golden beaches, which include Fintra beach, Murvagh and Rossnowlagh beach which is also great for surfing.

When we arrived we were welcomed by a a very friendly lady who had a great coal fire burning for us.the house was real cosy and of a nice distance from Donegal town and nice walking aera around it.

Goretti, the lady who ran the place was very friendly and very helpful. The house was very clean. It was a 30min+ walk into Donegal Town, mainly along footpath along main road. The last bit of the road to the accommodation has no lights, so you need a torch in dark. There are taxi services for the lazy ones. Lack of light pollution and clear skies gave some superb star light. Property had its own parking. Donegal Town has some great eating options and lovely bars.

Very easy to book and the owner updated me at every stage, cottage was very comfortable, great location and spotlessly clean.

Stayed 2 nights 250 euro, said we had to pay for oil and elec, towels 2 euro and they were damp, bought coal for fire as they didnt supply any, dried towels at fire, TV was 15 ins could hardly see it, house needs facelift 1970 s furniture!!!!
