Head off on walks or cycle rides through beautiful surroundings, including the Kentmere Valley. Venture into the Yorkshire Dales, which begin about 9 miles away. Drive into Kendal to go shopping, dine out and visit the castle. Make your way to Windermere and Bowness, 4 and 5 miles away, to potter in independent shops, buy local provisions and take a cruise out on the water. Hire your own motorboat or go canoeing here too. Open the door to this refurbished holiday home to find beautifully finished accommodation to spread out into. Discover an airy, open plan lounge/diner that will quickly become the heart of your temporary home. Light the wood burner, switch on the Smart TV or choose a DVD to watch.
