Make trips to Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere lakes, both around 4 miles away, for waterside walks and wildlife watching. Follow the 11 steps down to the bungalow then climb a couple more to enter and discover a property filled with natural light. Leave your outerwear in the porch then wander on through into the lounge/diner. Take your pick of the comfortable chairs in here then choose yourself something to read or find a film on the TV. Tear yourself away from the view and head through to the kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washer/dryer. Serve up at the table next door.
