This Beautiful four bedroom spacious holiday home is just outside the town of Foxford, and is ideally located between the two larger towns of Castlebar and Ballina. Nestled between the Ox and Neiphin mountains Foxford is the ideal location for a stress free break away. Just 20 minutes from Knock International Airport and 15 minutes from blue flag beaches and the Wild Atlantic Way. The National Museum of Country Life is just a short drive away. Foxford is famous for its Woollen Mills and the Visitors Centre is very popular with tourists. The town is situated on the banks of the famous river Moy, one of the most famous salmon fishing rivers in Europe and a haven for fishermen from all over the world who returned every year to fish these waters. For the walking enthusiast there are Forest walks and walking trails such as the Foxford Way which is 86 km long and is categorized as a Linear Walk, with the Ox mountains on one side and Neiphin mountains on the other. It is one of Mayo's finest walks. During the walk the walker will encounter bogs, mountain, rivers and lakes and breathtaking.

This lovely detached house is close to all amenities and situated between the two larger towns of Castlebar and Ballina. This beautiful town is nestled beneath the Ox and Neiphin mountains which makes this a haven for hillwalkers and mountain climbing with its many walking trails and regular guided walks.The lovely beach of Inniscrone is just 25 minutes drive. Knock International Airport is just 30 minutes away. Foxford is situated on the banks of the famous River Moy, one of the most famous rivers in Europe for salmon fishing. The Moy is the most prolific salmon river in Ireland with thousands of fish being caught on rod and line each year.

Foxford is also famous for it's Woollen Mills. The visitor's centre is a very popular tourist attraction.William Brown, founder of the Argentine Navy was born in Foxford, where he is remembered by a bronze bust by the Argentine sculptor Vergottini. The Museum of Country Life which is part of the National Museum of Ireland is just a fifteen minute drive away.
