With four bedrooms across the first and second floor, guest will find two doubles and two twins. Area
The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has four village pubs, two of which serve food, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick.

The two shower rooms are very cramped but we could see the building made limitations.. The door stop behind the front door is in the wrong place and did not stop a rather over-enthusiastic opening, which resulted in slight damage to the wall. Apologies for this but a well-sited doorstop would prevent it. The dishwasher did not clean very well and we mainly washed by hand. But we enjoyed our stay and found everything else well chosen, comfortable and attractive.

This was our second visit to this property, last time with a group of friends and this time to celebrate a family birthday.. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, warm and ideal for a group of family or friends to enjoy time together. The location is great for walks too and the local pub has got character. I would highly recommend this property

This was our second visit, we are booked in again at the end of October and booked for August 2019 before we left .. It is ideal for all generations, with plenty of space for people to withdraw to. We had grandparents, parents and children. Need I say more.

I chose this property because of its location. I wanted to be in Embleton and the position overlooking the fantastic coastline was perfect. I was sold the moment I saw it. Sea Lane did not disappoint, every detail has been taken into account; it's practical, spacious, extremely tasteful and ideally positioned to explore either inland or the coastline. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and I would definitely return.

The cottage was brilliant for the eight of us with plenty of space on the ground floor. We found it very relaxing. The views were absolutely breath-taking, we could never tire of them no matter what the season. The cottage owner was extremely helpful with advice for bad weather and for supplementing logs for fire(we didn't need as the house was comfortably warm at all times). The walks were fantastic and most locals were friendly and welcoming. We are all agreed that we would return to this cottage.

Just returned from a weekend in this lovely property.We stayed with friends for a birthday celebration and it was wonderful for such an occasion. Renovated to a high standard and very stylishly furnished the whole place feels so very calm and relaxing.Plenty of space to spread out if you so wanted - comfy lounge,kitchen big enough to sit with the cooks,a glass of wine in the terraced patio garden or just sit on the front wall and gaze towards the sea (or talk to the cows) Being so close to the coastal walks was wonderful and must recommend you walk in one direction to Low Newton by the Sea and in the other to Craster passing Dunstaburgh Castle,both walks culminate at a pub ! All in all a cracking property in a beautiful part of the country .Dont dither just book it !

We have visited Embleton alot over the years and were keen to show my wifes parents. They were very impressed. The house is very nicely decorated , looks recent. The owner was very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were large and very light, the bathrooms and ensuites were all new . On a night it was absolutely silent, no road noise at all, every one remarked that as soon as their heads hit the pillow they fell asleep. We found the location excellent , Just a stones throw to the pub, there is a small shop in the village, and a decent restaurant which my wifes parents visited. We had very good weather, each morning we woke to bright sunshine, the views of the sea, and Dunstanburgh Castle were superb , The golf course at the end of the lane serves meals during the day which is handy for the beach. There is very good play park in the village which our children loved. The only thing I could knock it for was the bathroom extractor fans could do with having isolator switches so that they could be turned off as they were a bit whiney. Other than that minor item it was exceptional. We will be back. It was the best break we have had in a long time.
