We have visited Embleton alot over the years and were keen to show my wifes parents.
They were very impressed.
The house is very nicely decorated , looks recent. The owner was very helpful and friendly
and couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were large and very light, the bathrooms and ensuites were all new .
On a night it was absolutely silent, no road noise at all, every one remarked that as soon as their heads hit the pillow they fell asleep.
We found the location excellent , Just a stones throw to the pub, there is a small shop in the village, and a decent restaurant which my wifes parents visited.
We had very good weather, each morning we woke to bright sunshine, the views of the sea, and Dunstanburgh Castle were superb , The golf course at the end of the lane serves meals during the day which is handy for the beach.
There is very good play park in the village which our children loved.
The only thing I could knock it for was the bathroom extractor fans could do with having isolator switches so that they could be turned off as they were a bit whiney. Other than that minor item it was exceptional.
We will be back.
It was the best break we have had in a long time.
