A traditional bread oven adorns the living room. Pors-Guyon, located 2 km away, has a small, unspoiled beach and several oyster farms, where you can taste fresh oysters. The house is very close to the Sillon de Talbert - a 3.5 km long tongue of land that is a unique across Europe. You can enjoy wonderful walks on the fine sand. There are many small and family-friendly beaches along the coast, such as the Pors Rand at Kermagen. The long-distance hike route GR34 takes you to many beautiful coves along the coast. The historic town of Tréguier with a beautiful cathedral is only a few kilometres away. The city of Paimpol, commonly known as the City of Icelanders, holds several events all through the year, such as the music festival Chants des Marins, museums, racing, the festival of the scallop and the Fête des Vieux Gréements with concerts, exhibitions, entertainment and flea markets. You can sail to the Bréhat Island from Arcouest in a quarter of an hour. Enjoy a wonderful day on the island, which is also called the island of flowers because of its diverse vegetation.
