Located at 9 miles from Llanberis and 10 miles from Caernarfon, the little village of Rachub can be found at the foot of the huge Carneddau Mountains, which are part of the majestic Eryri (Snowdonian) Mountain Range. There are many beautiful hiking and biking paths in the hills and mountains around the town, which is home to a general store, a tavern where locals congregate, a bakery, and a little post office. Within ten miles, you may find the busy market town of Caernarfon, home to a spectacular 13th-century castle, lovely art shops, a superb golf course, and many fine restaurants, as well as the picturesque North Wales Heritage Coastline, which is only seven miles away. Llanberis, known as a climbing and walking Mecca, is only 9 miles away and is a bustling tourist hub with a wide variety of outdoor pursuits, great places to eat and drink, and a few stores.
