The National Trust properties Chirk Castle and Erddig are also within easy reach, as is Wales highest waterfall, Pistyll Rhaeadr, with its impressive 73 metre cascade. Keen walkers will also be happy to discover the Maelor Way and Berwyn mountains. Relax and unwind after a busy day exploring in the cottage lounge with its wood burner, where you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch the TV or use the DVD. In the well equipped kitchen/diner, you ll find an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, as well as a large dining table should you choose to stay in for your evening meal.
