You can follow the popular walk which follows the course of the River Yar from its source at Niton to the sea at Bembridge. The villages of Whitwell and Niton are ideal for shops and places to eat and drink. Other places to visit include Ventnor Botanic Garden, Carisbrooke Castle, the Garlic Farm, St Catherine s Lighthouse and Osborne House.
