The Owners were welcoming and friendly.. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Situated in the lovely Eden valley. We went on some lovely walks. Very peaceful and relaxing. I have already recommended to someone else.

The house we stayed in was in a lovely, quiet village.. There was plenty of room for all of us. I would say it was very good value for money. The house was ideally located for visiting the area with many attractions only a 30 minute drive away. There are also some walks directly from the property and there is also a really nice park in the neighbouring village. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My partner had to work whilst we were there and the WiFi was very useful for this considering how people are currently working. The house may benefit from satellite broadband, but I appreciate most people would not require it if they were on holiday. We left an item at the house and the owners have posted it. We had a wonderful time at the property.
Mrs Nunhuck, August 2020
The cottage was large and welcoming.. Beautifully clean in all areas.owner was very friendly and really pleasant to deal with.ideal location for both lakes and pennines.
Wellgarth Cottage was very comfortable - soft sofas and comfy beds and pillows.. It was well equipped with everything we needed and was reasonably priced when compared with other 4-bedroom properties in the north lakes area. I would thoroughly recommend it.
Lovely cottage with excellent facilities.. Even had a Christmas tree up for us and decorations making it feel like home from home at this time of year.
Perfectly clean and comfortable.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful area, with very attentive owners , everything about this cottage was excellent, from the comfy beds to the kitchen utensils and the cosy snug..
Lovely setting.. Friendly owners. Easy check-in.
Only downside was limited hot water.
A hidden gem - only 20 mins from the NE Lakes.. Great internal space.
The holiday cottage exceeded our expectations, it was very comfortable and the location was ideal base for exploring the lakes and popular tourist spots as well as hidden gems in the surrounding villages.. Would definitely return to this location.
The cottage was as we hoped, without exceeding expectations, in other words accurrartly described on the website.. There were some problems but the owners quickly dealt with them.
A beautiful location which was so peaceful and private.. The cottage was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, decor and facilities. We were very impressed and found the bedrooms to be very tastefully furnished as well as the bathrooms. Warm, dry and with very helpful owner on site.
We found the cottage welcoming and a real home from home. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for us to relax.
It was just what we wished for and within easy reach of the places we wanted to visit including a wedding in Glenridding on Ullswater..
The Cottage had all the little things you need when on a self catering holiday. Really made this place stand out. Home from home. The wifi signal was amazing considering the remote village location. Great week away in excellent accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting.
The whole time spent in the cottage was most enjoyable. The owner/housekeeper and her husband who live across the courtyard were most friendly and attentive.
A warm and comfortable cottage, with plenty of room. Friendly reception from owners. Beautiful countryside.
We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage; it was a cosy and a beautiful place. The owners were very warm and friendly.
