Weavers Cottage came up when we were searching for the Yorkshire dales, and it is actually quite a way away, particularly as the direct road was closed for repairs whilst we were there.. But there are also some very pleasant walks in the immediate area. It's a steep climb to walk, and not very well signposted, from Hebden Bridge where most of the restaurants are, to Heptonstall. So we tended to take the car.
The cottage itself is small but excellently appointed. No serious outdoor space -- a tiny, very enclosed back yard. All reasonable Covid precautions were taken and we (a couple) had a very happy week based there.
