Pickering is a market town resting on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and a popular holiday destination for historical fans and outdoors lovers alike. The town is steeped in history and is home to a renowned medieval castle and the Beck Isle Museum. Visitors can enjoy boarding the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a heritage steam engine that cuts through the gorgeous landscapes of the Park, from moorlands to woodlands. Pickering also boasts access to the Yorkshire Coast, providing visitors with a the best of both worlds during their stay.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Small front garden enclosed by a low level stone wall with lawn and furniture. Two well behaved dogs welcome but mustn’t be left alone in the cottage. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 7 miles, pub 2.6 miles. Note : there are steps in the front garden down to the front door and a step up from the sitting room to the kitchen/diner, please take care as some of these steps are higher than standard steps, these steps may mean that the property is unsuitable for people with restricted mobility.
