Stayed here for a week and loved it. Had everything we needed for a family of four. Lovely big kitchen with all amenities (and WiFi fine) Very clean, spacious and well decorated. Nice garden area and great location however very steep climb from mevagissey town but okay for us. Owner very responsive when needed but no major issues. Would recommend

The bungalow was perfect for us for the week with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of lounge space and a lovely courtyard garden.. One of the best things, which I don't think is given enough prominence is the view from the lounge and front bedrooms - it's to die for! Also, the nearest beach is just across the green area in front of Waverley and down a series of steps to Polstreath. The steps are not for the faint-hearted but worth it. Overall, a very positive and enjoyable holiday.

The lack of parking was an inconvenience but everything else was much better than expected.. The owner was very helpful too.

Modern, stylish property.. Property was very clean and comfortable. Nice comfortable sofas which in my experience is rare. Nice sea views and large grassed area opposite is ideal for dog exercising, the cliff edge is well fenced off. I think problems reported by previous reviewers must have been rectified as we didn’t find anything wrong with this outstanding property.

A few minor hiccups such as noisy music from next door early evening however quickly resolved on our first night.. Due to horrendous wind and rain water was sleeping through bottom of french doors. Front door locking system from inside bungalow completely failed after 2 days. Had to go out through back to lock from front. Owner was advised. Seating on 1 chair in kitchen broken unusable. TV too small for lounge. Really could do with a couple of portable tv’s in bedrooms. Tiles on roof - from reading customers view these have been an ongoing problem banging on the roof, for sometime. However despite these ‘maintenance’ problems’ we would consider staying there again albeit in better weather than the hurricane type weather we had there unfortunately.

It is a lovely property and brilliantly situated.. Stayed here before will likely stay again. However, whatever is banging on the roof when the wind blows really needs fixing.

The location of the property was excellent.. Opposite a green for the dog to run around and a stones throw from the coast path in one direction and the town in the other.

Lovely home from home. A few little maintenance jobs need doing but nothing to spoil our stay. Cornish weather threw everything at us, but house was toasty warm and the view of the sea in stormy weather from the house was worth the soakings The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

The cottage was immaculately presented, with everything provided that we could possibly need.. Gorgeous walk down to the harbour, however a little steep on the way back

Lovely and comfortable and furnished to high standard.. Unfortunately bathroom let it down as it needs updating . The shower flow very poor and mould around seals. Overall would give accomodation 8/10. Would be 10/10 if bathroom updated. Lovely spot above the bay. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a splendid week at Waverley.. It was helped by the weather, but even in the rain, the bungalow would have been comfortable, although a bigger television might have been welcome. Our dog was made welcome everywhere. There was more than enough space for two adults, but with three proper bedrooms, five would still have been happy. The location was second to none, but some visitors would have to take the steepness of the hill into the village into account. The courtyard at the back would be very safe for children. Green space and wonderful views in each direction, right outside the front door. Interesting places within easy reach. The sort of place you go back to.

Waverley was in a great location with a sea view to the front.. In one direction it was a 5 minute walk down to Mevagissey and in the other direction was the coastal path and a steep walk down to a quiet beach. It was a good base for visiting lovely gardens and interesting places. The beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well equipped and house light & airy. Would have liked a bigger bathroom with a bath as shower was very small but that would not stop me returning as everything else was so good.

The views are exceptional.. The bungalow was everything and more would recommend to everyone.

March 2018
The bungalow was really nice in a fantastic location for sea views.. There was always a parking space. But on a first come first serve basis. The bungalow had everything you would need for a holiday and more. Lovely touches when we arrived, scones, jam & cream. Bread and milk in the fridge even flowers on the table. The stairs to the up upper floor are very steep and roof very noisy in high winds. The shower is very small with not much power ( could do with updating). Whilst we didn't come here to watch the television. On rainy days and relaxing evenings we found the television to be very small. This would have been best for the bedroom and a larger one be for the living room. However this would not put us off staying again. The furnishings are very nice and high quality. The court yard garden is a good size and very secure for dogs and children. Overall we loved the Waverley and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We stayed with friends over New Year, very nice chalet bungalow, clean, well equiped kitchen. Good base for Eden Project, good walks and Harbour just a 10 min walk, but quite steep return. We really enjoyed our stay, just one thing though, we only had one hand towel between 5 of us and only 1 teatowel

This bungalow is fantastic, it was clean, spacious well equipt and the views are absolutely amazing from the living room and two bedrooms, we fell in love with it straight away.Lovely walk down to the village and a lovely beach not far away, just be aware that its on top of cliffs so it's a steep way down but well worth the effort. There's a lovely private courtyard at the rear which is great for eating alfresco!!! We loved it so much we've already booked for next year.

This is a very good location for visiting other areas in Cornwall. The Green at front was ideal for my niece and dog for walking and playing and just for sitting out. The rear garden and courtyard was ideal for sitting out to eat and have a drink in the evening. Mevagissey is a lovely place and well worth a visit. Cottage was relaxing and felt at home in a good way. The top bedroom overlooking the bay and green was ideal.

The location was perfect and the cottage has everything you would need. Lovely for a dog - just a short walk to Polstreath beach (watch out for the steps down!) which is great for dogs. Also convenient for popping into Mevagissey. All in all a lovely cottage.

It had a fantastic view of the sea. We could walk into Mevagissy and didn't need to drive down. The grass area outside the cottage was great for exercising our dog. The owners were very friendly and helpful and they didn't put a lot of 'do's and dont's' in the cottage.

Excellent location with wonderful views. the 10 minutes to the town ( which is downhill!) is compensated by the views when waking up in the morning...or sitting with a drink in the evening. Great location for visiting The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project...plus St Ives and St Michaels Mount can all be done from here. Good quality furnishings and decor, well equipped an had all we needed...including Wi fi
