Wagtail Cottage is a stone barn conversion located in a courtyard setting and attached to the owner's home near the town of Pembroke in Pembrokeshire. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and a twin room and has a ground floor bathroom. The rest of the cottage consists of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside the cottage there is off road parking for two cars, an enclosed rear garden with furniture and a front lawned garden. With the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park within easy reach, Wagtail Cottage is ideal for a family or group of friends looking to explore this delightful part of Wales.

A medieval walled town, Pembroke is home to a magnificent castle, which was the birthplace of Henry Tudor. In an idyllic location, on the river estuary, this historic town has an abundance of shops, quaint tea rooms and restaurants. The stunning Pembrokeshire coastline is nearby, with its award-winning beaches and great coastal walks along the coastal path.

The cottage was cosy and welcoming with a basket of goodies and flowers waiting for us and milk in the fridge.. The beds were very comfy and the cottage was clean with everything we might need. It was in a perfect location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast and surrounding areas. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this property. Thank you for a lovely staycation!

We booked this cottage for a quiet get-a-way and that is exactly what we got.. It was wonderful. We really couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was spotlessly clean and so warm and cosy. The owners go above and beyond with some lovely extras. All our plans to go for walks etc. never happened as we were just content to stay holed up in this gorgeous cottage. We recharged our batteries and will hopefully be back soon when they need recharging again.

The cottage more than lived up to expectations, a clean, comfortable and really relaxing place to stay.. We are a family of four with two teenagers, everyone was happy with all having enough space to themselves when needed. Having never visited Pembroke before, the close proximity of so many fantastic beaches meant we were spoilt for choice and spent most days there. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in Wagtail Cottage for a week with our 5 year old son.. The cottage was ideal for a family of 3 or 4. We did have a couple of issues, the most important being the velux window in the twin bedroom. This has a bedside table directly beneath it and I found our son stood on the bedside table with one leg out of the velux window, about to climb on the roof!! Although the owners have thought about younger guests with children's cutlery, bucket and spade and a selection of boogie boards provided, my little one struggled with no child's step provided to enable him to reach the sink etc. The last issue we had was with a constant banging noise throughout the day, we couldn't determine if this was coming from the military range or the oil refinery, although it wasn't loud enough to be irritating it was noticeable and worth mentioning. Apart from these issues we had a lovely holiday in our favourite part of the world. The cottage was very comfortable and perfectly positioned for exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire.

A small update is required on instructions Travelling to the Property after passing through Maidenwells .. There is now a small island as you go round the sharp bend first exit left required signposted St Twynnells . (No go straight over Give way) Wonderful cottage great location for walking the coast path and visiting the local Beaches.

This is a fantastic cottage in a secluded and quiet location but especially great for visiting all the beaches, etc.. The cottage has everything anyone could need and is very homely whilst being furnished to a high standard. It makes it perfect for a very relaxing holiday. The owners left a great welcome pack and some lovely flowers which made it even more special along with some great tips for what to do and where to go in the local area. All in all a fabulous place that we would definitely go back to and would highly recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed here for our minimoon and it was absolutely perfect. It was just what we needed after a very manic few months. The cottage itself is very well presented, very clean and decorated beautifully. It's located in a quiet area with woods immediately behind the property. There are lots of beaches near by which is great for exploring. The owners are very welcoming and the guide was very useful. Thank you for making our minimoon perfect.

Opened the door to a spotlessly clean, gorgeous cottage with brilliant facilities.. The cottage had so many lovely little touches including binoculars and a bird book to assist with the amazing guests you get in the garden (watch out for the woodpecker!). The homemade guide to walks and places was a great help and so was the visitor book. So enjoyed our holiday and the cottage was perfect! Thank you for a fantastic time! The Harmans.

Wagtail cottage is perfectly placed to visit the sights of Pembrokeshire.. It has a central quiet location and the cottage itself is both clean and well equipped. This is the second time we have stayed there and will book again.

Comfortable and clean cottage, it was furnished to a high standard and the bed was comfortable.. There are a number of beautiful beaches and bays to explore nearby and lots of walking to be done if so inclined.

This is a lovely cottage - well equipped, smart but comfortable. It is in the right area if you like walking. just a few miles from some of the most spectacular coastal walks - Bosherston Lily Ponds, Angle Bay (great cafe there), Stackpole Quay, Broadhaven, Barafundle, Freshwater West - I could go on... And St David's is less than an hour in the car. We had a slight problem with flies in the bedrooms, and the underfloor heating was difficult to manage, but we just used the electric radiators from the bedrooms. In any case, I'm sure if we'd asked the next door owners (whom we never met), it would have been sorted - our bad.
