What an amazing cottage to stay in. Linda the host is so welcoming and helpful (the welcome brownies are lovely). The house is lovely and the beds are amazing (I didn't want to come home to my own bed). The garden is great and dog friendly (Linda provides dog towels, poo bags and dog bowls, which is great). The house is a short walk into Cemaes which is a lovely little village (the butchers, the village shop and the harbour bar are great). We will definitely be staying again and we are already looking at when we can visit.

Well what can I say.. ...... a beautiful cottage that is home from home. The property/furniture has been updated since the photos were taken and the photos on the website do not do the property justice. A very spacious and pretty property indeed. Linda the owner lives next door if we needed anything and as very quick in responding to emails and phone messages leading up to the holiday The kitchen is well equipped to enable easy cooking with a good supply of crockery etc. Linda went the extra mile by putting in a coffee machine for us. The location was so peaceful but only a short walk to the village center where there is a corner shop, chip shop, and a couple of pubs serving lovely food. An enjoyable to stay by myself, husband and my parents. I wouldn't hesitate to re-book in the future, if holidaying in Wales

Fourth stay at Tyddyn Gyrfa Cottage, feels like home now.. Very cosy and comfortable property, with great garden for Maisy (staffie cross). Good job we don't live there as the beds are so comfortable I'd never get up! Excellent stay as usual, Covid procedures in place so no concerns at all about staying at the property or being in the village. Would 100% recommend the property and the village. Hope to be back next year.

This was our first stay at Tyddyn Gyrfa Cottage and we had a really lovely holiday there with our two dogs.. The cottage is beautiful and cozy and spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable beds and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking family meals. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely lady who owns the property, she had provided a beautiful welcome basket and a tin of delicious chocolate brownies. The property is very dog friendly with a large secure garden and very well placed for local amenities. We can honestly say that it is one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and would have no hesitation in recommending to all family and friends. Thank you very much for our lovely stay.

Beautiful house in a stunning location.. The house is just lovely and has a dog proof garden. The owners live next door and were really helpful when we had a small problem. The house is in a fantastic location with a small pretty village and beach on the door step. Anglesey was new to us and we just loved it- quiet, peaceful and stuck back in time! We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic cottage in a great location - we know the island well and stay there at least a couple of times a year but this was the first stay at Tyddyn Gyrfa.. The cottage is lovely with log burners in both the dining and living rooms making this really cosy especially for a winter holiday. On arrival we were greeted by a warm fire, and a lovely welcome pack (the choc brownies were gorgeous!). Linda the owner (who lives next door) was a great host and came over when we arrived. This is the only cottage were I can honestly say that everything has been provided for guests including a starter pack for the fires (you can buy more wood from the shed in the garden - there is an honesty box in the kitchen), welcome pack, towels for dogs, loads of DVD's and books, umbrella's etc. There was even a walking stick which my Mum found helpful, as her knees do cause her problems with mobility. A lot of thought has clearly gone into what guests want and need whilst on a self catering holiday and I can't think of anything that has been missed. The kitchen is really well equipped, again with everything you need. The bedrooms are lovely, plenty of storage and mirrors. There are also wall heaters which kept the house warm and toasty throughout our stay. Plenty of parking, there is a drive but we parked on the roadside without any problems (its a dead end road). The secure garden is great for dogs, really good size and I imagine would be a suntrap in the summer months. The location is perfect, really quiet but only 2 mins walk to the village, the harbour and beaches. No hesitation in 100% recommending this property and we will definitely return next year.

A wonderful cottage giving easy access to North Wales and the Llynn Peninsular.. The cottage is very well furnished and equipped and the welcome pack, including the homemade chocolate brownies, was very much appreciated. The garden is enclosed making it very safe for Ziggy our greyhound, (some of the boundaries have walls etc. less than 4 feet high so may not be as secure for jumpers). The owners, Linda and Peter, live next door and we’re very helpful and friendly, without being imposing. There are 2 pubs in the village that are dog friendly and many more all over the island. One beach and a separate half a beach in the village are dog friendly, although at high tide there is barely enough sand to make a castle. Lots of great walking, including dog walks, and many stately homes and castles are at least partly dog friendly. The cottage is highly recommended and I am sure we will return.

A very well equipped cottage within five minutes walk of centre of village, shops and pubs, pleasant garden for sitting out in or for dogs, also a very nice woodland walk and coastal path.. The cottage is located in a residential cul- de -sac which is used regularly by people walking down to the village and using the ginnel at the end, this was the only drawback for us as we are not used to sitting in our living room and having people walking past, also this resulted in having to close blinds in bedrooms for privacy, this is only our personnel feeling that may not be noticed by other people using this cottage, don't let it put you off, just being honest.Overall had a great week and would recommend this cottage for dog owners and families.

We had a lovely week at the beginning of June.. Linda the owner lives next door and was very friendly and helpful. Welcome pack included delicious home made brownies which didnt last long! Cottage had everything we needed and is well situated a short walk from the beach , shops and pubs. Jess loved the river walk and the beach and many places allow dogs in. Linda was also happy for us to leave her for a few hours when we went to non dog friendly activities. We have been to Anglesey several times and thought Treaddur bay couldnt be beaten but we are now in love with the peaceful friendliness of Cemaes. We will definitely be back.

What a great holiday let.linda and Peter the owners have done everything possible to ensure their guests enjoy their holiday.house immaculate garden dog proof, all mod cons available to ensure that self catering was easywork. We really loved the house, Cemaes bay and Anglesey. Village and beach short stroll away and 3 pubs available for eating out. We will be back!!!

July 2016
The house was immaculately clean and although utilised mainly by dog owners throughout the summer we couldn't find a single dog hair from the previous hirers occupancy, so no complaints there. The garden was fully dog proof which was a bonus, so we had no worries about the dogs escaping. All mod cons were provided so it made self catering a pleasure. We would highly recommend this property and we will probably revisit the island and this house in the future.

Where do I start with this amazing house, garden, owners, friendliness and beautiful island of Anglesey. Firstly the owners were so kind and friendly and the welcome pack was a beautiful touch. The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything. We were there for 2 weeks and at the start of week 2 fresh bedding, towels, tea towels and bath mats were delivered. The location was great just a 4 minute walk from the beach. The garden was beautiful and large and as we had Bailey our English Springer with us it was wonderful knowing that he was safe and secure at all times he loved it. The locals were so friendly and the island itself is beautiful with so many hidden coves and bays. For people travelling with dogs it is the best place we have been that allows you to take your pets out with you. Tyddyn Gyrfa we will be back.

July 2015
The Cottage is a 'home from home' - everything was there that you could possibly need. Everything was very comfortable - very comfy beds! All very clean and tidy, it was great to be able to go somewhere nice when you have a dog. The owners are lovely people, really friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant; a very short walk to the village high street, two lovely beaches, 3 pubs, award winning fish 'n' chip shop and lovely walks from the doorstep. The garden is lovely and secure for your dog with plenty of space to run around, it was also a lovely little sun trap. Would definitely recommend.

March 2015
The farmhouse was amazing. Everything about it exuded quality. Seldom in my experience do holiday lets meet up with the advertising blurb but in this case it exceeded it. Presentation was excellent, especially the small final touches like the arrangement of the towels in the bedrooms with a small chocolate on. All in all everything was done to make our stay most enjoyable.

March 2015
Such a lovely and comfortable holiday home, cannot find one fault. Had lovely owners who went out of their way to make you feel at home. Would highly recommend this holiday home. Had a lovely garden which our dog Jimi really enjoyed. Could walk easily down to the beach from the property which was a bonus first thing in the morning, and the local shops and chip shop were again only a short walk away. Will be going back as soon as we can arrange another stay.

Firstly the standard of the cottage was excellent, a home from home and very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely friendly and informative. There is nothing I can say other than this cottage is excellent. It is the thought that the host has put into it. The location is perfect for touring the island and only a short stroll to the shops and harbour. The garden to the property is large and secure for your dog, plus has a large table and chairs. This is one property I would gladly recommend to family and friends. It's just perfect.
