Ty Twt is a bright and welcoming, end-terrace cottage set on the edge of the small town of Burry Port in Carmarthenshire. With one double and one twin bedroom, the property can sleep four people. There's also a ground floor bathroom, a cosy sitting room with a dining area and a kitchen. Outside is an enclosed rear patio with decking and furniture and a cycle store, plus to the front is unrestricted roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Set close to a golden sandy beach, along with the town's amenities and harbour, and with wonderful coastal cycling, Ty Twt provides friends and families with a fabulous base.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with TV, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and electric fire.

Area
Burry Port is perfectly located on the beautiful South Wales coastline and has a selection of shops, a Post Office, several pubs and restaurants. The golf club is renowned for offering all year round sport no matter what the weather throws at you and the sandy beach is equally delightful on hot summer or wild stormy winter days. The harbour is a hive of activity where you can sit and watch or take an active part on boat trips out to sea.

Ty Twt far exceeded our expectations,spacious, clean,everything we needed on hand.. Great location for town and beach 5 mins walk which is beautiful and not recommended enough in write ups. Burry Port has pubs, takeaways and Co Op all of which are friendly and good quality. Great walks along millennium coastal path 5 minutes away. One hour to one and half drive takes you to Tenby and the Pembroke coast or Rhossili and the Gower peninsula plus many in between. Definitely be back.

Lovely end of terrace with plenty of space,spotless, modern kitchen and very comfy bed. Large back yard with patio furniture and secure for dog. 5 minutes from beach and town in a quiet area. Millennium coastal path a real bonus running both ways just a 5 min stroll away . Beach looks out onto Gower peninsula, gorgeous. Town has all you need ,takeaways,pubs and a co op. Great base to visit many other resorts and places of interest if needed,otherwise enjoy the fantastic beaches and walks on hand.

The house was just as described, only 5 minutes walk from the most amazing beach and to the local shops.. It was very well equipped with everything you needed and more whilst on holiday. The beds were very comfortable and had good quality linen and towels provided. The house was spotless and everything in working order. Would recommend Burry Port as a handy base for exploring further afield. Tenby was within an hour as was the stunning Gower Peninsula. We had a wonderful time with our 2 dogs spending most of the week having fun on the many various beaches around the area.

The cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.. The area was spot on for long walks and the dogs enjoyed the beaches and dunes to run on. We were left milk and fabulous Welsh cakes by Julie on arrival which were much appreciated after a long drive. Would definitely recommend.

If there was a league for rental properties Ty Twt would be in the Premiership.. The accommodation is beautifully and tastefully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. The owner is so lovely, very friendly and goes that extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. Very cosy and well equipped cottage.. Beautiful beaches a ten minute stroll away. Doggy heaven - massive sandy beaches to run on and lots of local dogs to meet. We were also lucky with the weather - driving home through the storm. Almost forgot the delicious welsh cakes to welcome us. yum.

A lovely cottage in a great location.. We spent a week here in August as my husband was racing at the nearby Pembrey circuit at the weekend and we decided we would extend our stay. The house itself was just what we were looking for; beautifully clean, well equipped and dog friendly. The towels and linens were supplied and the welcome of fresh milk and Welsh cakes was a nice touch. Burry Port has all the basics within a few minutes walk, a pleasant couple of pubs, a great fish and chip shop, bakery, tea room and plenty of take-aways if you don’t feel like cooking. The local co-op is also well stocked. The harbour and beach at Burry Port is fantastic for dogs. There are no restrictions and you can walk for miles on either the beach or adjacent coastal path - our only regret is we didn’t bring our bicycles! Pembrey Country Park is also a must visit. All in all, a great place to visit with the cottage being a perfect place to relax after a long days walking - Would recommend. Note: As described, the property has a downstairs bathroom and the stairs are fairly narrow and steep. Not ideal for those with restricted mobility or poor balance.

This was our third stay in this property and the accommodation,facilities and location are all great.. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable and a real home from home. There are superb beaches with easy access just a five minute stroll away as are the local shops. The Millennium Coastal Path is also easily accessible from the cottage. We really enjoyed our holiday at the cottage the facilities were very good the games and jigsaws were a pleasant addition,I do think a clothes airer for indoors in inclement weather would be helpful also a warning about the steep stairs ..

The house was lovely and perfectly set up for a holiday let.. It is in a great position close to shops, harbour, beach, walks and cycle path. Burry Port is a lovely small town with local shops including a greengrocer, butcher and baker, which is unusual these days. As a family we prefer to cook our own meals and the cottage kitchen had everything we needed, including a slow cooker so you could prepare a meal, go out walking for the day and come back to a warm tea at the end of the day. The living space was very generous and was very comfortable for us and our 2 dogs.

Superb cottage which provides for a very cosy stay in Burry Port.. The owner left welsh cakes and milk for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Everywhere is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Would recommend to anyone as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

This is an end of terrace, totally renovated cottage. Spotlessly clean when we arrived, this cottage has been tastefully and pleasantly decorated throughout in a modern style. Ground floor consists of a good sized living room with two leather sofas, small dining table and chairs and large wall mounted flat screen TV. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped. The bathroom/toilet is on the ground floor which is a slight pain if you have to get up during the night, but not a major problem. The small backyard is half wooden decked (great place to sit to soak up the afternoon sun with glass in hand!!). Upstairs there are two large nicely furnished bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The cottage is in a quiet part of town, but is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre via a railway bridge, 5 minutes from the harbour and beach and 10 minutes from the coastal path and another section of the huge beach - so it couldn't be much better placed. The fact that the accommodation is dog friendly was big draw for us and we are so glad that we booked it. All in all great accommodation in an ideal position.

This property is in a great location, very high standard of cleanliness, it's comfortable.. The lady who owns the house is lovely. Would definitely stay again. The price for a week is good although the price for a weekend I feel is high in comparison.

The cottage was very comfortable, and the owner had left tea,sugar,milk,welsh cakes etc.. The cottage was 5 minutes walk from the harbour and beautiful sandy beaches. The town had all the shops you may need while away from home, and several pubs, restaurants and cafes. The owner also left a pass to get into Pembrey Country Park, which was excellent. There were walks through pine forests, along sandy beaches, and othe activities such as dry slope ski run, sleigh run, horse riding and more. We had a lovely holiday with our 2 dogs.

The location was fantastic for walking to the beach morning and evening.. Easy to pop to the shops, too. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and laid out, everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfy and the towels were soft & fluffy. Fantastic shower, easy to use oven & tv, we felt so comfortable and at home. Our GSD had plenty of room to mooch and crash out, with a secure back garden so she could wander in and out to her hearts content. Julie was a wonderful friendly person and we wish her all the best. Apartment was modern and well furnished. Located very near the Port and town centre. Lots to do nearby. Burry Port is a picturesque small town with butcher, Coop, bakers and bike hire. Don't really need more. The walk/bike ride to Llanelli is lovely. In the other direction Pembrey national park is fantastic. Beaches all excellent with kids. The kitchen is large and the bedrooms are large. The lounge is spacious and the cottage feels welcoming. Bathroom is on the ground floor.
