Ty Hen is an attractive detached cottage situated in a hamlet of Anelog, near to Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, which are made up of a double, a single and adults bunk as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric woodburner-effect stove. To the outside is ample off road parking and enclosed front, rear and side lawned gardens with patio and furniture. Located in some stunning countryside, Ty hen is a fantastic place to enjoy at any time of the year.

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single, 1 x adult bunk. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area (seats 4). Sitting room with electric woodburner-effect stove.

Area
The seaside village of Aberdaron is situated around two streams, and facing the sea with the buildings that give Aberdaron its character; the lime-washed fishermen's cottages, the cafes, shops, and hotels, and the church of St Hywyn. On each side is the beach for walking and playing on, and a promenade where you can watch the sailing boats and regattas in the bay. The popular resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy reach.

Beautiful location, lovely cottage with loads of room and well equipped kitchen.. Sadly we found the beds so uncomfortable that after 4 nights of no sleep we decided to cut our holiday short . Also the cottage had areas that smelt like a Tom cat had got in and left it’s scent which is something I found irritating.

This cottage is everything you need to spend a relaxing holiday, the views and scenery are stunning and you get to see the most beautiful sunrises right in front of your bed.. The house is clean and well equipped with good facilities/entertainment(improvements required listed at the end of the review), it accommodates 5 people nicely although you might want to notice that there is only one double bed. There is a well laid out and clean garden square as well for the kids to play and the cute lambs grazing in front of the cottage are a real treat to watch. If you are interested you could even hike a little mountain on the back of the cottage to get some stunning views of the sea and amazing sunset too over the sea. This is a bit far from the snowdonia park(an hour ish drive) but a lovely place to stay if you love to explore coastal places/ beaches and would not mind driving to other places. beaches are just <2 miles drive and pubs/shop too. Can park upto 3-4 cars easily A welcome pack would have been more appreciated as we missed to buy milk and ended up not getting one due to the early closing hours Also the shower stopped working (at no ones fault) as the switch is a bit unusual but clear instructions would be helpful Cooking utensils are sufficient but need more pans as we ended up doing stuff in sequence as there was only on pan!(plenty of pots though) Some basics like salt.spices would be nice

A lovely well set out cottage with everything you're likely to need.. Views and setting are stunning, in a beautiful part of the world. Owners were super quick responding when we had an issue with the cooker which was massively appreciated, thankyou.

Great location very peaceful and rural.. Lots of parking space and only 5 mins from glorious beaches, coastal path, shop and pubs. Our children loved feeding the cows in the next field with grass.

Perfect location so peaceful with amazing views.. This cottage was lovely so spacious and very well equipped you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay.Just make sure you have torches with you we had a couple of power cuts. If you are energetic climb the hill at the back of the cottage for the wow factor of views.
