Here you can relax and enjoy this scenic fishing town, watch the local trawlers unload their daily catch, take a ferry trip to Bere Island or enjoy a round of golf in the nearby Berhaven Golf Course.

Probably the best way to enjoy the particular beauty of the Beara Peninsula is by walking the Beara Way. This clearly marked and mapped route covers the most magnificent villages and islands of the area the quaint villages of Eyeries and Ardgroom, the old mining village of Allihies and the spectacular islands of Dursey and Bere Island.
