We've done very well to not mention the vantage points up until now. Better still, head up to the beautifully appointed dining room on the third floor, to find a glass-barrier Juliette balcony, through which the rolling waves can be spotted. If you want to truly embrace the alfresco life, you should descend to the ground floor, where a large deck complete with plenty of seating awaits for Aperols in the sunshine.

When the sight of the sand and surf proves too tempting, you can be on Rhosneigr Beach — a location renowned for its watersports — in only two minutes on foot. There are a few restaurants and cafes in town to keep you fed in between swims, as well.
