Where to start!! What a fabulous Barn.. the facilities, the location, the ever so helpful owner - really couldn't have asked for a better week away as we left the first lockdown of 2020. Was an amazing week, and really needed! The barn is a beautiful conversion, with all the mod cons you need for holiday break and more. There was no need to leave the barn, although we obviously did, can't imagine a better place to set off from for a whole level of walks every day! Not having to use the cars for the week (plenty of storage for a weeks worth of food for 12 of us!). The layout of the barn lends itself to a really communal atmosphere for a great family (or friends) break, but with breakout areas for quieter times if needed! To wake up every morning and weather permitting look out on to Ingleborough in all its glory was wonderful. All equipment/facilities in the barn were of great quality and there was things that we didn't know we needed on hand! The quality of fixtures and fittings, bedding and towel/robes were 5* hotel quality. Can't wait to go back again!

1st of all the owners have took every precautions to keep you safe from this covid virus, the place is clean and our group of 11 felt safe from it the whole visit, welldone to the owner and cleaning staff. This cottage is alot bigger than it looks in the pictures, its very peaceful with great veiws and walks stright from your door. Our group varied in ages from 2 to 38 and everyone loved it equally, from the hottub(which was cleaned everyday) to the pool table, ps4 or straight out into a walk. The cottage is isolated and very quite outside, we liked the speakers over the hottub while enjoying the veiws. Its very upto date insde the cottage with plenty of fridge space to get all our food in (under counter and a free standing 1), overall this is a outstanding cottage which is very well designed and we have already rebooked for a winter break, welldone three peaks barn and thanks for the relaxing stay andrew,a

We found the Three Peaks Barn via Sykes cottages. It was a fantastic week for our extended family. The cottage is so homely and welcoming and set in the most beautiful location! There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area including the Three Peaks, Ingleton Waterfall walk, Kirby Lonsdale, Hawes, WhiteScar Caves etc. The views are simply stunning with the Ribblehead Viaduct and the three peaks in each direction. The sunrise and sunsets were particularly spectacular. We are already looking at rebooking for next year!

This converted barn is beautiful in a stunning location.. Has everything you need and a pub a 15 minute walk away. Kids lived in the hot tub , bbq in the rain and lots of laughter. Owner checked in to ensure we were ok and even came back with some fizz as I was celebrating a big birthday!! Amazing weekend and would recommend thus place to anyone!!

What a brilliant find! ! Excellent location with unbelievable views to Ribbleshead Viaduct. The house itself was immaculate and converted to a really high standard. Lots of little zones to disappear into for some quite time but also enough space to all get together and enjoy the evenings. Hot tub was just what we needed after the march up Whernside! The only problem was that we were only there for the weekend! No one wanted to leave! We’ll be staying for a week next time!

Brilliant cottage , lovely stay & lovely owners.. The family loved the hot tub although maybe we chose the wrong time to visit as was terrible winds all weekend. Would definitely recommend and return in the summer months ! Brilliant stay! Maybe one more thing- for it to be more clearly signposted how to get there as took a while to find the correct place but lovely time once there xx Thankyou! X

Took my partner for her 30th with some friends and family and this place does not disappoint.. It has been finished to a very high standard and is beautiful inside and out. It has an excellent view of the Ribblehead Viaduct to one side and stunning views of the dales everywhere else. These views make the hot tub even better even though we didn’t get much time in it which you’ll read why later on. I arranged for a birthday package for our arrival which was excellent. A large happy birthday bunting as soon as you walk into the property with ballons and banners, flowers, chocolates and a lovely bottle of champagne is what my partner was greeted with and she loved it. A big mention and thanks to Diane who is the owner of the property. She was amazing. During our stay we were hit with storm deirdre which was savage. We were hit by very strong wind with freezing rain and unfortunately for us electrical cables were damaged in the valley which caused us to have a power cut. Within ten minutes Diane was on the door checking on us and organised straight away some hot water as we had a baby with us, some normal water and plenty of logs to keep the fire going. Again, the next morning she was there checking and provided fresh boiled water in flasks again. She was excellent Ingleton is just a short drive away and has everything you need. A large co op and there are some takeaways for them nights you can’t be bothered. I remember having a quick look at something in the barn which said that Tesco do deliver to this property for the people who like to be organised and take everything with them. This is one less thing to pack and one less thing on your mind and list to do before you go. Due to the storm we were a little limited on what we could whilst we were there but we did manage to get out on the Sunday and do the Ingleton Water Falls Trail. This was stunning. With all of the bad weather it really did bring the falls and rivers to life and I would definitely recommend it. We did see people walking past he property on the Sunday so you can pick up a walking route from the barn if you didn’t want to drive anywhere. Diane has also provided walking routes in the welcome pack book which looked good and is very helpful. All in all I would strongly recommend going to the barn as you will not be disappointed

The owner was amazing! !! It was my 50th birthday and I arrived to flowers, balloons and champagne which was incredibly kind (as well as the welcome hamper). The location is fantastic - i can't imagine anywhere with better views. Short walk to a nice pub and of course the delights of the Ribblehead Viaduct and 3 peaks. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location.. Views are amazing! Very clean and a lovely welcome basket of wine, chocolate, coffee & tea. There are plenty of very good quality towels in each of the bedrooms and the beds were made up. Small boxes of tissues are also provided in the bedrooms and bathrobes in a couple of the bedrooms (not all of them). These are for the hot-tub which we used. It was lovely and warm and very relaxing enjoying the view. On one of the previous reviews it was mentioned you can pre-order from Tesco's online. We did this and it arrived on time. We got a little confused getting there as we were told the satnavs take you the wrong way but thankfully ours didn't! We did visit The Old Hill Inn (nearby). Lovely pub and good food but as there was 10 of us we had to pre-order the food a week beforehand and I also had to give my debit card details as they said if we didn't turn up we would be charged for the food which is fair enough. We wanted to go another evening but once again was told we needed to pre-order. Unfortunately at Three Peaks Barn you don't always get the internet connection so we decided we wouldn't be able to get back to them to pre-oder so we went elsewhere. There is a pay phone at the Barn but that also wasn't a great connection as the person I phoned had trouble hearing me. But this place is perfect for a "getaway from it all holiday". Wonderful walks (if that's what you like). We all had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend a visit!

The generous welcome pack was very thoughtful, particularly the homemade cake.. The Barn was in a wonderful location, secluded with amazing scenery. The space was wonderfully comfortable and included everything we wanted. We would highly recommend. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to Diane.

August 2018
Beautiful location with outstanding scenery very close to the Ribblehead Viaduct.. Couldn't ask for a more peaceful location. Diane was very helpful and the cake, coffee, tea and wine left by Diane went down well with the whole family. Would not hesitate to come again. The barn was comfortable and clean and the idea of having a small lounge area next to the kitchen was very useful. The whole family enjoyed the guided tour of the farm and the explanations given about the farms stock was very informative

This cottage is in an excellent location for walking with great views all around and lovely to see all the lambs outside.. Great cottage for a family get together. Everyone appreciated the facilities and especially the Jacuzzi and Pool table. Living areas very sociable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. Although there were a couple of pubs reasonably close by, which we walked to. Would highly recommend. Very good welcome pack with wine, coffee and some treats etc. Also excellent location if you fancy doing the 3 Peaks, which you can do right from the door quite easily, as some of our party did. Lovely holiday. We’ve stayed in a few Sykes properties and standard has been good, but this is the best we’ve stayed in by far.

A fabulous cottage and location.. We booked to celebrate a 60th birthday with family and friends and Three Peaks Barn was the perfect base for all ages. The very wintery Yorkshire weather was the icing on the cake and we enjoyed different views from the fabulous hot tub every day. The cottage is well equiped with games and pastimes and the owner was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

We stayed here in a group of 12 girls for our annual Beat The Winter Blues weekend away. The location was stunning ; idyllic and peaceful with stunning views . The barn was well equipped with everything for a comfortable stay including a well stocked kitchen . The beds were really comfortable , and everything was spotlessly clean . The wine and homemade Victoria sponge were nice touches too, and the starry unspoiled sky on a night sitting in the hot tub took our breath away . Diane was a great hostess . We would highly recommend this place

We stayed for my 50th birthday get together with 4 families of friends. This barn conversion is an ideal property for a family or friend celebration. Thoughtfully prepared - we wanted for nothing, warm and comfortable, equipped to a very high spec and very clean. We were greeted by the owner who was delightful & welcoming and as well as chocolates and wine she also brought over a bottle of champagne on hearing it was my birthday. Weather was cold and snowing slightly which made the barn even more magical- stunning views of 3 peaks and viaduct and able to spend time outside in the hot tub! And walking to the pub I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for high quality comfort - a real get away from it all in the beautiful county of Yorkshire.

What a beautiful place in stunning surroundings. Very well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Hot tub is fantastic - looking up at the stars!! Wow what a welcome.. Flowers, cake, card., balloons, champagne, wine to help us celebrate our Golden Wedding and balloons and a gift for our 8 year old grandsons birthday. Oh so kind of Diane Handley. We had a wonderful time making precious memories. Can't thank the Handleys enough for the use of their outstanding cottage. Highly recommended and would really love to use this cottage again. Thank you so much.

This property was ideal for a big family get together, celebrating a sixty year olds birthday.. Ian and Diane are brilliant hosts and have thought of all generations, which we had, four generations, ages ranging from eight months to seventy eight. We would not hesitate in recommending this property for a quiet peaceful, tranquil break which was great for a celebration. Denton family from Portugal, Northamptonshire and West Sussex.

This is high quality accommodation close to the Ribblehead Viaduct. We took our girls, their partners and 2 grandchildren. Cannot fault the accommodation or location. Plenty to do in the area and great for walking, cycling and running. Accommodation has a pool table and hot tub a wii, board games, DVDs, books etc. for the unpredictable dales weather. Wifi available which is useful as patchy mobile signals in area. We had a brilliant time

We stayed at Three Peaks Barn for a week - what a delightful experience. The accommodation and its location are both outstanding; Diane, the owner, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome, to ensure that we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. It was a memorable holiday (even the sun shined); if you haven't yet stayed in Three Peaks Barn, book now!

So rare to find a place that lives up to expectations 100%. The views are exactly as the photos, surrounded by the scenic views of the three peaks. The Ribblehead viaduct is within easy walking distance. The hosts are fantastic and very accommodating. The accommodation itself is of very high quality and has everything you could need. We visited for a combined retirement/birthday celebration and had a great time. We also took advantage of having a 'spa session' at the farmhouse and it didn't disappoint. Diane and Rebecca couldn't have done more for us, it was a lovely relaxing experience and lunch was outstanding! What a lovely peaceful break and would highly recommend.

I stayed at Three Peaks Barn with my extended family, celebrating my Dad's 70th, my 40th and my daughters's 5th birthdays. The property is incredible: beautifully presented and appointed, it literally has everything. Everyone had their own bathroom, we all ate together in the sunny open dining area and the kids played in the expansive sitting area upstairs. The hot tub was a massive hit with my wee girl! The surrounding area is simply stunning - you need to see it to believe it. Diane was an exceptional hostess and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. The kids, and the rest of us, enjoyed our tour of the farm! Personal touches, such as champagne for the birthday celebrations and Easter eggs for the kids were incredibly welcome and thoughtful gestures. I can't recommend Three Peaks Barn enough!

We had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and in a great location. We loved the size of the house and it was great that we could all fit around the dining table and there was plenty of seating in the living room for everyone. The hosts were extremely nice and welcoming and explained everything on our arrival.

We stayed for a long weekend in Sept 2015 to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Diane & made to feel instantly at home. She had also left a card, fizz & a cake for the anniversary couple which was very much appreciated! I cannot add anything further to the positive comments already made by other reviewers as the accommodation is wonderful and the location is stunning. It was the perfect choice for a fabulous celebration which was enjoyed by all. Book it or miss out!

Our children loved the hot tub which was meticulously maintained. They enjoyed the pool table, the Wii and the big beds! The adults appreciated the WiFi, the cleanliness, the quality of the furnishings and the space for cars. Overall we had an excellent week and look forward to the next one.

Our second visit in a year, with a completely different group of friends, and everyone from both holidays is unanimous that 3 Peaks is pretty much unrivalled in terms of facilities and location. And Diane, the owner, was delightful, both in dealing with our booking and in person. 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 fridges, hot tub, pool table, disabled access....plus it's only a couple of hundred yards from the magnificent Ribblehead Viaduct, and you can see all 3 peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent, from the property. We'll be back!

We stayed as a group of friends on a weekend break and had a fab time. Had great nights sleep in the very comfortable beds. Barn looks better than the pictures provided and offers spacious accommodation for a large group. Everything thought of and provided by the Barn owner. Even had a visit to the Farm to meet the new born lambs, cattle and calfs. You will not be disappointed if you book here.

Words cannot express the wow factor the moment you walk through the door, a credit to the owners who leave nothing unturned they really have thought of everything, as a family of 8 adults and 5 children celebrating my 60th birthday I could not of wished for anything better. a BIG thanks you to Diane for your kind gestures, it really was a birthday to remember. We had a family reunion here and could not fault the house or surroundings at all. They had thought of everything you need and we all had plenty of space to chill or get together. The hot tub was definitely an added bonus after coming back from one of the many walks around the area. There was also plenty of other things to do from visiting a zoo, caves and the Lake District all within an hours drive or less.
Mrs Gooding
August 2014
We liked its remote location. It was so safe for our grandchildren. The hot tub was an added bonus. The accommodation gave us plenty of space. We enjoyed being able to keep an eye on the little ones wherever we were in the house. It was perfect. There were eleven of us in the house but we had loads of space to spread out. The weather was so good that we were able to have so many meals outside. The pictures of the place do not do it justice.

A group of 12 pensioners get together once a year at different locations around the country and our stay this year at Three Peaks Barn was definitely one of the best. Fantastic property for a group of seniors who walked the Dales Way! Everything was as stated on the website. We particularly liked the situation near to the Ribblehead viaduct and the relative isolation and peacefulness of the barn. The owner was welcoming and available if required but everything was so good we did not need to contact her.

May 2014
The Barn is beautiful and I would highly recommend it for a family gathering. It is a great location for walking the 3 peaks. Inside, the large table has loads of space for all 12 people. It also had plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery. In the kitchen, there are 2 normal size fridges, one with a freezer below plus a separate wine cooler. We used the washer and dishwasher; both were easy to use and cleaned everything well. The cooker was really good and fast. The bedrooms were spacious with good quality linens and the games room was loved by the kids and the adults. There were lots of books in the barn detailing local walks. The hot tub was also a great factor, loved by young and old, we were in it daily, and it could have fitted 7 people at once had we wanted to! The owner checked it daily and also provided plastic glasses too. Overall we have to say, The Barn beat all expectations and was of an exceptionally high standard. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, whatever we asked for she provided or helped us with.

The Barn is in a perfect setting. It is kitted out to a high specification and the open plan design made it ideal for a week away with friends. The beds can be split into twin beds which was ideal for an all girl group. The hot tub was a luxury with gowns in the rooms that gave it a special feel. Absolutely superb.

February 2014
The cottage was superb; spacious, comfortable and every feature was finished to a high specification. The location was equally fantastic, with a wealth of walks in easy reach; it's nestled in the Doe Valley between Ingbrough and Whernside. Our vista was framed at one end by the spectacular Ribble Head Viaduct. The sense of isolation was a welcome change to the bustle of city life. That being said civilisation was within reach as the village of Ingleton was a short drive away and the station pub was within a short walk .

We were a group of 10 women who were here for a girlie weekend of relaxation and laughter and the house certainly lived up to our expectations. There was more than enough room and the open plan dining/kitchen was where we spent most of our time. Everything about the house was high quality and we appreciated the lovely touch of cake and bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. We are definitely looking at booking again next year.

Remote location. Beautiful barn which provided a great base for the whole of our family who travelled from north and south to be there. Facilities are great with lots of space, pool table and hot tub. Sitting in the hot tub on a clear frosty night drinking champagne and looking at the stars, which were scattered like diamonds on black velvet, was truly magical! Had a brilliant birthday gathering.. What a lovely holiday! The barn has been refurbished to an incredible standard, I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so nice before. The location is really beautiful and views are amazing. I'd recommend going to the caves up the road, the Ingleton Waterfalls walk is good fun too. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere (which is lovely!) but equally, Ingleton is just up the road if you need anything. The couple who run the farm are lovely and even let us come and meet a new born calf which my nephews really enjoyed. The hot tub is an added bonus and are a nice way to spend the evening. Overall, a really enjoyable holiday and I would definitely recommend to anyone. The only negative thing I can think if is that the barn is one mile off the main road and it's full of potholes so careful with your car! It wouldn't put me off though and I would definitely go again.

The standard of this property is very good and the location is to die for. The property is well presented and maintained. The thrill of looking out of the property window and see a steam train passing over the viaduct was very memorable. We were lucky with the weather, and the hot tub was a luxury we enjoyed on a few occasions.

With the hills all around, and the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct nearby, this really is an amazing location. I was very impressed by the standard of decor, the level of comfort and the well equipped kitchen, not to mention the hot tub, open fire and pool table. We've already booked for next year.

Just returned from a special birthday celebration at Three Peaks Barn. There was 6 couples staying at the barn and it exceeded my expectations. There is such a high quality finish and everything you could need and more. The hot tub was perfect even when there was gale force winds and heavy rain we made the most of it. The living room is designed in such a way that you can move the furniture round to suit your needs and the pool table was a well used accessory. The bedrooms were well laid out and would also be ideal for three families to share and the beds were so comfy I wanted to take mine home. As well as internally we had the breath taking views (when it wasn't foggy) and little lambs in the field next to us. I cant praise the owners enough and they left us bottles of red & white wine and a gorgeous cake and then when they realised it was a birthday celebration they gave the birthday boy a bottle of Champagne. The only down side that doesn't reflect on the cottage is that the walk to the pub is longer than10 minutes and due to the bad weather we popped to the Coop in Ingleton and made a meal in the barn and jumped in the hot tub instead. Highly recommended and already trying to plan a trip back.

7 girls descended on this beautiful converted barn for some R&R;! The house has been done to a very high standard - it has a lovely homely feel to it - with breathtaking scenery. On our second night we had a private chef come cook for us - a real treat. (White Rose Caterers!). Simply wonderful. We were welcomed with a lovely homemade cake and wine. The hosts who live on the working farm are great! They not only gave us a lift to and from the local pub but they joined in on our last night of fun at the house. They really are so welcoming. There is nothing bad or negative to be said about this house or our stay at 3 Peaks Barn. We will most certainly be going back. Thoroughly recommend to a family or to a group of ladies that want a rural 'get away from it all'. Enjoy - from 6 blondes & a brunette!

As a large family group we booked this converted barn before seeing any photos as it had just been converted and we worried if it would be as nice as the description sounded, we weren't disappointed the place was amazing. Our group was 8 adults and 3 children aged 4, 1 and 1 and the barn catered for us perfectly. After booking we spoke a few times to the owners to discuss our stay and they went out of their way to provide us with facilities to accomodate our young children including stair gates a play pen and high chair as well as the books and toys. On our day of arrival the owners contacted us to advise us of very bad weather to allow us to prepare with things like wellingtons and raincoats which was considerate. Due to flooded roads en route we arrived very late but were still greeted at the barn and shown around as well as welcomed with a cake and some wine. The barn is well laid out and we loved the hot tub even in the rain, looking at the surrounding viaduct and peaks covered in rain clouds while soaking in a hot bubbly tub is quite an amazing experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and even with truly dreadful weather everybody had a memorable time and would certainly go back. The owners even rang to say my wife had left an item of clothing and returned it by post free of charge for us.
