We had a lovely week at the Stables.. Everything was very good. It was lovely to come back to a warm house after being out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well placed for everything. It’s in a very rural place and therefore we felt very safe and the whole holiday felt a complete switch off from the current news regarding the pandemic. We hope to return. Many thanks to Sarah and her staff.
It was lovely holiday.. Food at the Pub nearby was really delicious. Sarah was welcoming and very nice lady. We loved the place because of the amazing hospitality that we received from Sarah.
So peaceful place so wonderful Sarah!

It is a very comfortable and cosy cottage.. The heating was much appreciated during a November visit. There is no level access to the cottage, both back and front entrances have steps and although it does not claim to be suitable for the disabled the existence of a ground floor bedroom might lead one to expect that it was. Perhaps this should be made clear in the details.
The description of The Stables is all true. We had a lovely week despite the appalling weather. It was nice to get back to somewhere warm and comfortable after a damp or wet day out. We had hoped to have a barbecue or two on the lovely terrace but as I have said the weather was against us. Thank goodness for numerous National Trust properties in the area. We enjoyed them all. The Mappa Mundi at Hereford Cathedral was inspiring. A longer trip to Stratford on Avon for the theatre was well worth the journey.
This was a wider family get together of 26 ranging from nearly 80 to 10 months.. We had a wonderful time and most asked if we could do the same next year. The under twelves took full advantage of the garden and playroom. We all walked in countryside that I knew very little about. We were even given permission by the priest-in-charge of the beautiful church next door to hold our own family service on Sunday.A thoroughly good time had by all
It was really wonderful and exactly what we needed.. We were blessed with lovely neighbours too. All round great trip.
Rented both The Stables and the adjoining Tack Room over the Christmas period and descended with family, dogs, presents and food to find the place impeccably clean and beautifully warm, with fully stocked kitchens and a Christmas tree!
It was wonderful to let the kids and dog run free and explore and whilst we didn't venture very far afield it being Christmas the absolute highlight of our trip was when Sarah invited us to a local Nativity/carol service on Christmas Eve complete with hay bales and live animals - it was absolutely magical....
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, fabulous trip.
Very comfortable, warm and spacious with a great pub close by..
It was especially good having activities such as pool & table tennis on site.. We all loved the location of Little Cowarne as it was close to Bromyard, Ledbury & Hereford, towns & city having a lot to offer.
Sunday lunch at The Three Horseshoes pub was excellent.
The cottage was clean and modern.. The setting was rural and quiet which suited us. Quite a trek to shops so would recommend that people take initial supplies tea, coffee etc. The games room adequate but would benefit from an update. Would definitely return to this cottage when staying in the area again.
The complex that The Stables is on is undergoing some building work.. It wasn’t noisy but it didn’t look very nice.
The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay. There isn’t a hairdryer at The Stables
Maybe a few more things for children in games room which we used and could do with some TLC..
It is a lovely cottage in a perfect setting it was warm and cosy place great to come back to after a day of sightseeing.. Everything in cottage you needed and much more beds very comfortable as was sitting room kitchen large and very well equipped. It is in a good location with lots to do all around it but within easy reach of west midlands safari park and Warwick castle. We will be going back again.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Stables to celebrate a rather late family Christmas! Absolutely everything was perfect ..... Sarah even managed to arrange for snow on our 'pretend' Christmas Day!!
The cottage was easy to find despite arriving late at night, thanks to the additional directions on the website.. The owner also came by in the morning to check that everything was ok which was a really nice touch. The cottage was exactly as described and presented in a clean and comfortable way. Highly recommend the pub in the village!
A beautifully converted stable, with good facilities, clean, tidy and warm..
Fabulous place to stay with everything you could need.. Stayed with a group of friends and was very comfortable , enjoyed some lovely walks, good food at local pub and chilling evenings in the Stables.
A lovely converted barn with everything we needed. There was plenty of room and it had comfortable beds.
A great location for a walking holiday. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Accommodation is very good and well maintained.
It was our second visit to this great place in a great location and have no doubt that we will re-visit.
Spacious and modern property, great sized bedrooms and a wonderful communal area. The local area was beautiful too.
A well-resourced, flexible accommodation. Very quiet spot, but lots to do within a short drive and lots of pleasant walks around. The cottage was larger than expected and very well presented. Everyone was really helpful and the owners were thoughtful and easy to get hold of if needed.
A delightful holiday cottage. Highly recommended in every way. Ideal location too for sightseeing in the West Midlands.
stayed with wife brother and sister in law and mother in law and randy the dog. fantastic place . really quiet lovley and clean . best bed ive ever slept in . kitchen is well equipped and loads of comfy settees . pool and ping pong table too. nice pub just up the road. make sure you've got a pair of wellies to make the most of the walks around. and be careful up the drive(its a bit bumpy)
What an amazing place. Warm, comfortable, big, clean and airy. A weekend away with friends and family, it was the perfect location. Will most definitely be coming back again.
We had a lovely stay in The Stables. There was 6 adults and 2 babies and the house was plenty big enough. Lovely location and fab facilities!
The Cottage was fantastically situated in between Hereford and Leominster with plenty to see and do. We visited Berrington Hall and nearby Bromyard which were both lovely. The cottage itself was clean and spacious. The living room sofas were really comfortable. Bedrooms were modern, and the beds we could have slept in all day if it was not for the babies waking up! Kitchen had everything you could need. Overall a lovely place to stay, close to a lovely pub up the road.
We were very pleased with the cottage. Spacious and clean.
This house was an excellent base to tour the area from.
The area was lovely and quiet. The house was beautiful with very comfy beds. There was wi-fi and a dishwasher and washing machine which suited all of our requirements.
Our host was very welcoming and the property was fabulously clean and comfortable. As a group of women friends it was great to have a good quality bed each! We loved the sofas and the power showers too!
Fantastic property with lots of space and very practical modern interior. Loved the wooden beams throughout and great patio with picnic benches.
Excellent property, ideal for our needs.
Three Horseshoes pub down the road does excellent food, highly recommend.
The property was superb, the owner was most helpful, we all had such a wonderful time and all felt we could quite easily live in the property permanently. Strongly recommend to everyone.
Excellent location. Beautiful area. Welcome bottle of wine much appreciated!
The bedroom, living room and heating were all excellent. A very comfortable and spacious property.
This was a lovely modern building set in a good area for exploring.
The bathrooms and kitchen were lovely and modern and all furnishings very modern.
