The location is amazing, we have stayed here before and it was just as beautiful as we remembered the cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, the owners are fantastic and friendly .. My dog enjoyed the secured space around the cottage . My children enjoyed the location as everything is on your door step or not far to drive out , our favourite’s were merlins cove and st nectan’s glen it is on our door step plus beautiful scenery and walks everywhere. There is enough on the strip to enjoy meals and drinks out plus shopping! , also and picnic table in the garden to have plenty family time at the cottage, cottage was outstandingly clean, beautiful and spacious. Great secure car park too. We love this place .

The house was in a fabulous location and was spotlessly clean on arrival.. The owners were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive.

Lovely cottage, helpful owners and location was excellent to explore the area - we particularly liked Boscastle and Crackington Haven.. It's a ten minute or so walk into Tintagel along the main road and the lovely coastal path took us direct to the the castle cafe in 30minutes. The new bridge at the castle was open so that was well worth a visit. Teenagers loved the bay windows in the house to sit in and chat - a few more bean bags would be a great idea. There is a house now in the garden opposite but it didn't spoil our holiday. TV and Wifi excellent. There are no recycling facilities so we did have a few trips to the local car park to take them.....Could NOT bear to throw away everything that we usually have collected at home! The chickens visited us a lot - we didn't feed them - and one did leave us a present on the front door mat which was interesting! Teenagers named them Monica and Rachel and there were always there to greet us at the end of the day when we got back. Slight issues with the mattress in the main bedroom which was a little soft and tired and some fresh milk upon arrival would be a nice touch . A great stay though in a lovely quiet area......would recommend.

We specifically wanted a house with a sea view from the lounge.. There were lovely views from the bedrooms but we wanted somewhere to relax during the daytime and in the evenings with a sea view. The photos for this property were taken before another building was erected obstructing the sea view. The photos of the sea view from the garden are very misleading, as you can only see the sea from one very high point in the garden which would be impossible to put a chair on. Otherwise the house was lovely and the location was good, but unfortunately we specifically wanted a week with a sea view and so this was very disappointing.

The cottage is very aptly positioned.. It is extremely easy to access Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac and Padstow. The cottage is like a home from home with a few surprising extras. The chickens were a source of delight and fun. The view across to the coastline is also an added bonus. Peace and tranquility are assured. Ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers.

The Roundhouse was perfect for our family of 4 plus little dog.. 4 nights over New Year with access to all that North Cornwall has to offer. Access to the local tidal beach with its waterfall was very easy to find and the cliff walk to Tintagel a must. The accommodation was very clean and had all the usual utilities, a huge bath with rainhead and normal shower made warming up after a long winters walk a pleasure. The beds were all very comfy and the kitchen well stocked of equipment. No washing machine, but we planned this in advance so it wasn’t a problem for us. Sea views were lovely. Shops in Tintagel a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk. Will stay again for sure

This property is adjoined to another but is private and quiet and has views to the sea.. Lovely garden with pub style bench. You can walk into Tintagel by foot and it is also minutes by car from the lovely Boscastle. Due to the spiral staircase and floor level opening windows in the bedroom and downstairs bathroom, I suggest this is not a property for kids or elderly people. Lovely bedrooms, beautiful and comfy. Good mobile signal and wireless (we work a bit on holiday!) and TV. Clean fresh kitchen. Could do with two side tables on lounge area as nowhere to put cups, books etc.Do not feed the seagulls- they get too bold.

Would certainly recommend this cottage.. The surrounding area is stunning with cliff top and sea walks from the door. There is so much to do in the immediate area and it is a great base to explore further afield. The cottage has everything you could need and a private garden. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

The cottage was lovely as were the owners - we all loved being there.. The only thing that was missing that would have come in handy was a washing machine - UK holidays in the rain can be muddy and we wanted to wash some towels we'd got a bit mucky. Otherwise, the cottage had everything we needed and was wonderfully presented.

We stayed here for a week. Lovely house, very clean and spacious with everything that you need. Fully enclosed beautiful garden ideal as we took our dog so was able to let her just come in and out as she pleased. A short flat 10/15 mins walk into Tintagel with a good selective of pubs serving food, coffee shops, gift shops etc. Best beach was a short drive Trebarwith Strand. A good base to get out and about Cornwall.

Myself, my husband, son and daughter-in-law and two grandaughters visted at the beginning of June. We had stayed here in September 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves then. We chose June this year hoping that the weather would be better. It wasn't. However, we still managed to dodge most of the showers and once again had a good time. Thoroughly recommend this cottage.Spotlessly clean and lovely gardens and within walking distance of Tintagel. The Benwell Family.

The Round House was a lovely surprise when we arrived. I had seen photos, but when we got there we were really pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and tidy and the owners were completely non-intrusive, but happy to help if asked. The location is great and it is just a short walk into Tintagel... just far enough out of town to be nice and peaceful, close enough to get to the pubs and restaurants, have a few drinks and walk back. It would have been nice to have a few maps and guides available in the cottage as there are lots of walks to be had. I would definitely recommend the cottage and would go back myself in the future.
