The Retreat is a wonderful abode, perfect for exploring West Yorkshire and the neighbouring national park. Note: There are steps to the exterior of the property. Note: The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a cupboard near the entrance. Note: Guests must bring their own towels. Note: This property only welcomes children above 1 years of age.

Area
The sizable market town of Keighley is located in West Yorkshire's Aire valley, conveniently close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The wool and cotton industries helped the Domesday Book-mentioned town expand during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Keighley and Worth Valley Light Railway, made famous by the 1970s movie The Railway Children, passes through the town for five miles to the village of Oxenhope. The town also has a shopping centre, bars, takeaways, and restaurants. On the town's outskirts are two retail parks. East Riddlesden Hall, a magnificent 17th-century National Trust property, is only one mile outside of town, while Haworth, the place made renowned as the Bronte sisters' home, is only four miles distant.
