Mablethorpe, in the county of Lincolnshire, is a charming coastal resort. The village has a beach and sand dunes where you may go for a stroll and take in the salty air of the ocean. Besides a few chain establishments, you'll find a nice variety of locally owned boutiques, eateries, and watering holes in Mablethorpe. In town, you can visit the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and hang out with seals and other tame creatures. Skegness, a more traditional seaside resort just a few miles down the coast, with many activities and attractions that the whole family may enjoy.
