This cottage was so lovely, the views were amazing and in a great location.. We went for a walk along the public footpaths, amazing views and stumbled upon a pub and had a lovely lunch before walking back. There are animals everywhere, horses even came up to us for a fuss. There’s so much to do, so many national parks. We went to malham cove which was great. We will definitely be back to visit other national parks! Yorkshire Dales is a stunning city.

Have stayed at CraggHill 4 times, 3 times in the Old Piggery.. It is a perfect location, you feel out the way but not far from all amenities. Loads of local pubs for some good food. Lots of things to do in the local areas. Extremely dog friendly. We love it and will be booking again for next year. Hot tubs are amazing! Owners fantastic.

First time for our family at The Old Piggery but it won’t be the last. Great place to relax and chill out. We loved the setting, privacy, underfloor heating, accommodation and of course the hot tub. Even our elderly dog was comfy. The daily visit from the geese also kept us amused! Thanks to Jo and Stuart we’ll be back :)

We booked the old piggery for 4 nights. The owners are lovely and the accommodation was great very spacious and all you needed for a chilled break, our daughter made a couple of friends (donkeys). The hottub was a fantastic bonus to relax in after a busy day, Jo and Stuart very very good hosts nothing was any trouble, another good feature was underfloor heating and ensuite bedrooms. We will definitely return here 10/10

The holiday let is a fantastic space to chill and relax.. Amazing views from the hot tub. Large spacious accommodation with underfloor heating. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The farm animals were a bonus. Never expected to see a wallaby or 2 on a farm. We loved it and will book again. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

First class place.. The owners were lovely. The accommodation was lovely. Unfortunately we arrived as storm ciara hit the area so the weather was atrocious. But the cottage was warm and cosy and we could look across the valley as the storm swept through. The hot tub also gave a lovely view when we jumped in it between storm fronts. There was everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay x

Absolutely love staying at Cragg Hill.. Jo & Stuart are wonderful owners. The place is beautiful and truly dog friendly. Hot tub is amazing, you feel isolated yet there is a town just a few minutes away for all your needs. Me and my wife first visited a few years ago and have been every year since, this was the first time with our new son who loved it also! Can't wait for him to come back and visit the animals this time!

We had an amazing stay, weather was perfect.. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us on arrival. The old piggery is spacious and clean. The owners were very friendly too. Would definitely recommend. The only thing is the fridge space is very small and no freezer. A BBQ would have come in handy. Other than those minor issue and fabulous stay. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Old Piggery was absolutely lovely and Jo was very helpful and accommodating in showing us round all the animals.. October 2018
Had a wonderful week at the piggery.. There were 6 of us altogether and our dog. There was plenty of space for us all. The kids loved the hot tub. Although the weather was cold the hot tub was kept 40 degrees at all times. The owners were friendly and helpful however left us to our own devices. Would def recommend the piggery to anyone wishing to visit the area. The only thing I think I would say is that there could perhaps be some sort of cover over the hot tub to keep the breeze away as it is in a very open space. The owner left us all the essentials needed such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk and even a bottle of champers to have in the hot tub. Hope to visit again in the future.

Our only complaint was no freezer.. Even a small freezer shelf in the fridge would have been better than nothing. It was otherwise a very enjoyable holiday.

September 2018
The old piggery is a delightful place to stay.. It was ideal for the girly weekend we had especially with the hot tub. We got a taxi into Haworth and had a mooch round the shops and a cheeky drink! The cottage had fabulous views and all amenities were fab too. All 6 of us said we would recommend and we have another trip planned next year already. Owners very friendly and welcoming too

Jo & Stu are really welcoming.. Our girls particularly enjoyed feeding the animals with Jo, they feel in love with baby Sprinkles! The weather for us was appalling but didn’t stop us enjoying the hot tub with a glass of bubbly. All in all we would highly recommend The Old Piggery.

March 2018
Really lovely place.. Felt completely at home from the second we walked in. All the rooms are really nice. The bathrooms are all very modern and clean. The hot tub is perfect and an has an amazing view. The place is heated by underfloor heating and the temperature is perfect all day round. Even though it was snowing outside our little one year old was loving life walking around in just his nappy. The whole family loved it and we didn’t want to leave. Really nice break away. Also had a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of milk waiting for us in the fridge which was a nice touch.

February 2018
Stuart, Jo and their staff were fantastic hosts and great with the children.. Nothing was too much trouble. The Old Piggery was brilliant (it's wonderful to have a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to cook properly) and very comfortable. The only thing that could have improved out stay, and this is a minor thing, would have been a small freezer (I like ice in my wine). We'll definitely return!

Beautiful location, cottage well equipped.. Enjoyed a lovely relaxing break. Didn’t see much of the rest of the site due to storm Eleanor but imagine it would be great in spring/summer. Ideally located for visiting Haworth and Skipton. Would definitely recommend.

This holiday for us was amazing, and we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of bubbles.. The Old Piggery was perfect for us (3 young adult couples (18-25)). It was beautiful inside and out, and it was very spacious, it also included all necessities (and Yorkshire teabags!). We had a fantastic time here, and the hot tub was a fantastic extra. We went on some lovely walks around the farms and local villages/towns, which were perfect for my pooch. Everyone was lovely at Cragg Hill farm and were extremely helpful and friendly. We met some of the animals, and the donkeys were our favourite. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic time away, especially with it being a few days before Christmas (they even had fab christmas decorations up!). We would definitely recommend this holiday to everyone looking for a relaxing or walking holiday with their pets; my dog loved his stay and really enjoyed his adventurous, muddy walks. Warm, clean, comfortable and very good value for money! 10/10 stay, definitely recommend!! We shall be returning in 2018!

A truly memorable weekend spent celebrating my 21st birthday in this lovely Yorkshire cabin surrounded by beautiful scenery. Such a shame to now be back home to reality and no longer sipping prosecco in the hot tub overlooking the moors :( The location is perfect, it's lovely and quiet however the town of Haworth is only a short drive away and on the Sunday we enjoyed a scenic 6k walk to the Bronte Waterfall before having a spot of lunch at a historic pub in the town. We will be recommending to everyone to visit again!

December 2016
stayed here from Thursday to Sunday. had such a great weekend away. got showed around by Stu and Jo's neighbour as they were away ( everyone deserves a break ) the lodge was very clean, more space than i thought - bedrooms including en suite were great. other room with bunk beds, which my niece loved - loved having a room to herself and staying on the top bunk! living space and kitchen all open plan, and under floor heating which was amazing. tip - if you are hot - open windows, don't turn the heating down. great touch was having some tea, coffee and biscuits for us - even a bottle of bubbles waiting, lovely touch!! :) lovely patio with the hot tub on, nice piece of land to possibly have bbq in summer, space for dog if you have one - hot tub used everyday, why not eh? after a day walking around, cant beat sitting looking at the stars with a nice drink Jo asked if my niece wanted to feed the animals ( donkeys, alpacas, geese, chickens, pigs ) on Sat evening and Sunday morning - which she, and i, loved, very nice of them to ask. great to see the hard work they put into the farm. very well maintained, great surroundings, great views - all in all - a fantastic weekend get away, would def recommend this place. well tucked away from the roads and shops, but close enough to get there by car, 5-10mins. get yourself to the Old Piggery and enjoy this gem thanks again Stu and Jo

August 2016
We stayed a week here at the end of July and it was amazing. Jo and Stuart were very welcoming and friendly (thank you for the eggs they were delicious). The location is excellent being tucked way on the hill but only a couple of moments from the town and shops and restaurants etc. The cottage was absolutely great with everything we could need. It is obviously well looked after and loved and it showed. My daughter loved all the animals, especially Lucy the friendliest cat ever. We all enjoyed an evening dip in the hot tub which was very relaxing after a day of walking. There is plenty to do nearby, Haworth is 4 miles away and the Dales are just a short journey. We would definitely book again

January 2016
Such a wonderful place to stay. The owners were very warm and welcoming. We were in awe of how large a living area there was, with comfortable seats and it was well decorated. The underfloor heating was wonderful and I will miss that so much. The Piggery is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is kept very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and both myself and partner will be back in October, for a week this time.

January 2016
We had a lovely stay at The Old Piggery over New Year. The owners were friendly and helpful. Spending New Years Eve in the hot tub with a glass of something fizzy was a great way to begin the year. The children loved the animals, and the surrounding towns had plenty to see and do. Would love to go back again sometime.

January 2016
I came to the Old Piggery with my partner and 2 friends. We stayed 2 nights, just to get away from everything and have good food, a few drinks and just relax away from everything. We were not dissappointed and we got so much more than we were expecting. We recieved a warm and friendly welcome from Jo who shwed us around the place and made us feel very welcome. Even a the late time we arrived. Stuart was great in giving us directions and was very friendly and welcoming too. We were very touched by the thoughtfulness as they had provided milk, biscuits, coffee, tea and a bottle of fizz for the hot tube. Ment a alot and was very unexpected. The kitchen is well stocked for utensils, plates and glasses. The large seating area with very comforatble leather couches were great for our DVD night. Was lovely to sit at the large dining table and play our board games. Then at the end of the night get into a clean and very comfortable and bed. Im a very tidy and clean person so I do have to comment on how nice the bedding smelt........ should have asked what washing powder they use. :-) The whole place is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and add to that the underfloor heating and this and so much more make for a wonderful and relaxing place to be which is very much a home from home enviroment. Upon writing this we have been back about 1 hrs and already have just booked again for a week this time in October. Maybe this time I'll use the hot tub, which my friends say was one of the highlights of their stay and I can help feed the many animals they have there too.

Our dog was welcomed, he had a paddock to run around in and the cottage patio area was gated and secure. The hot tub was wonderful and the accommodation was beautifully presented. Overall 5 stars, we would definitely stay again. A lovely private and very safe getaway. Loved it, thank you.

This holiday let is absolutely perfect for a retreat away from the every day busy hustle and bustle of life. The property itself is of exceptional quality, the hot tub fantastic. The views are amazing, really friendly owners. It is Close enough to shops however it is just out of the way so you don't feel like you are too close. We Cannot fault anything with this place and really want to come back soon! Thank you for such a fantastic holiday.

Our stay was lovely. The accommodation is the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. Very well appointed. Some lovely touches too namely fresh flowers and Cava, tea, coffee and milk. Our hosts were great. Very friendly and helpful. Nice to see the animals. nice paddock off the patio for the dogs to enjoy. The hot tub is a bonus. A car is essential as it's a steep climb from the town centre and we didn't attempt this. Good location for getting out and about. Would definitely stay again if we visited the area.

Firstly - don't be put off by the access road. It is not tarmacced and Very bumpy. The Old Piggery is a well appointed barn conversion, furnished with quality furniture and decorated to a high standard. I traveled with 3 friends and we all enjoyed the comfort and luxury of our holiday home. The hot tub on the deck was our favourite. Each night we sat out there watching the sun set over the hills. We had 2 dogs with us and we had exclusive access to a field from the deck so the dogs had freedom to play safely. Stuart and Joanne (the owners) were really friendly and helpful. We had fresh duck eggs brought to our door. Also on site are: alpacas, donkeys, emus, peacocks, hens, geese, turkeys, pigs. Marvellous!

We wanted a place with plenty of bathrooms so that we could all have privacy. This cottage has three beds and three baths so it ticked the first box. The hot tub was an extra we hadn't even thought of but it really made the holiday. Four pals sitting in the tub every evening, looking out over the countryside and putting the world to rights. Stuart and Jo are the very best of hosts, offering a friendly welcome, fresh eggs and the chance to meet their incredible collection of animals. The cottage is beautifully equipped and very comfortable. Out on the decking at the front of the cottage it feels like you are entirely alone - except for the peacocks of course. Dog friendly and with a paddock at the back for them to run in. Really good - highly recommended. P.S. Don't panic when you see the lane going down to the farm. We thought we were lost but we weren't.

A nice clean and comfortable cottage. In a quiet location but close enough to shops for the essentials. There were plenty of dog walks from the cottage, and a variety of animals on the farm to keep you entertained from the comfort of the balcony.

October 2014
This property should be a 5* rated holiday let. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The owners were particularly welcoming, have a fabulous collection of rare animals and there are spectacular views from the patio/balcony. There are three spacious bedrooms, two with TV's. Also three showers rooms. Locally there are very friendly pubs and restaurants serving excellent food. The owners are about to install a hot tub on the patio. We highly recommend this property and will be visiting there again.

September 2014
It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had all mod cons. We've stayed in a few cottages this year, this is the best. I am giving it 5 stars.
