The cottage is very clean and comfortable, but the seating in the sitting room would be a squeeze for six people, it was fine for us with four.. Our dog enjoyed the garden and it is good to see the cows in the field. We enjoyed our stay!

Some protection required at the top of the stairs for children to stop them falling down the stairs as they are very steep..

We had a lovely time at The Old Mill Cottage.. It's is comfortable with plenty of room for a family and in a lovely quiet location. The garden was great for my 6 year old grandson who loved to go out every morning to look for the 2 cows in the field behind. It was well equipped with everything we needed and well placed for visiting the coast. The beach at Fraisthorpe was a particular hit with my grandson with parking at Auburn Farm for only £3 for the day. It was quite busy when we visited but there was plenty of space and people were keeping to social distancing. It's definitely a cottage we would visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Charming cottage with a very well equipped kitchen, superior lounge and dining room furnishings and a lovely log burner to enjoy.. Upstairs we appreciated the powerful shower and comfy beds. The cottage is immaculately clean. Great location for trips to Filey, Scarborough etc, don’t miss the fish and chips in neighbouring Hunmanby.

Great location to all nearby coastline for Filey Scarborough and Bridlington.. Cottage was lovely and homely everything you needed was there, all that is missing is WiFi. The garden was great for my dog. The village of Hunmanby is great also with a butcher , bakers and little coop lovey fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs. Did not visit the pub within walking distance of the cottage as was winter hours and did not open till 5pm each day and we were all cosy in the cottage by that time. Would definitely recommend and rebook.

We had a really restful and relaxing holiday in this beautiful cottage, there was everything you could possibly need, and after a very stressful move, just what we needed.. The owner was so kind when we spoke to her, and was concerned whether we were warm enough, and comfortable, we certainly were. Thankyou for allowing us to enjoy your darling cottage. It was so homely. Daphne

Pleased with the secure, large garden for my dog and off road parking.. No real shops in the village anymore i.e.. butchers. Local people were very friendly and great with my dog. Had to make a call as there were no lights working on the very steep stairs. This was dealt with the next day. Enjoyed our holiday visiting the area but disappointed in the shabiness of Bridlington.

Only problem we had was no internet, when trying to connect we got BT FON offer £7.. 99 a day it is cheaper by the week but think it should be included in the rent as with every other property we have stayed in . This is the only thing that would stop us re booking .

The house was very comfortable with a well equiped kitchen.. The stairs in the property were very steep and care needed to be taken to avoid falling down them. The amenities in the village were nearly non existent. We were very disappointed with the village pub....no food, poor opening hours. Village was not what we were expecting at all from the description.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Everything we needed was to hand and it's probably the best cottage we have rented in regards to having everything we needed. Then garden was wonderful to sit out in in the morning and our dog had a great time running around it's spacious lawns. We really can't fault it and will return in the future I'm sure.
