Lovely place to stay everything perfect would stay again! The only negative is not being able to book for short break we had to pay for full week which is fine when sharing but sometimes could stay as four people or a couple if discount was offered for short break

The cottage was right in the centre of Corbridge only feet from the main bus stop.. Some of our party, with the help of their bus passes really appreciated being this close to public transport. The cottage was much bigger than expected and with every bedroom having its own bathroom, plus an extra toilet on the main living floor very well provided. We will look to go back there in the future since it delivered everything that we wanted.

I wanted a break away from the Newcastle to relax and unwind and this property did exactly that. It certainly hit the mark and is as good as, if not better than a lot of other properties I've stayed at. To folk not familiar with the area it is in the perfect location to see Northumberland and Durham in all its glory. A first rate property.

Corbridge is a lovely small town with everything you could possibly want - restaurants, pubs, local shops - plus lots of history close by - eg Hadrians wall and Roman forts. The Old Exchange is right in the middle of it. Extremely comfortable, very well furnished, 3 ensuite bedrooms, separate utility room and with parking for 3 cars.

The apartment was very comfortable with a high quality finish. Comfy furnishings and beds, powerful showers. The owner was exceptionally helpful throughout the process, from telling me lots about the local area to swiftly dealing with a couple of queries I had. Nothing was too much trouble and he was courteous and practical.

Meticulously Clean & Characterful Apartment, centrally located in this delightful village. We stayed 3 nights as a family (3 adult couples), during our trip to Northumberland. The Apartment is tastefully furnished, with a high spec including lovely quality bedlinen & towels, welcome after a long trek along Hadrians Wall (approx 20 mins drive to Once Brewed Visitors centre where we parked & did circular walk along this superb section of wall). We particulary liked the 3 large ensuite bedrooms & wonderfully spacious Lounge, accommodating us all comfortably. John the owner whom we met on our arrival, made us feel welcome & briefed us on the accommodation & nearby places of interest & eateries. Corbridge is a lovely historic village with lots of quaint shops, good restaurants & 4 pubs, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definately return in future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is the second time that we have had a family holiday in this property. I can thoroughly recommend it. The flat itself is of a high standard and the owner was attentive without being obtrusive. The flat is close to all village amenities, and there is a good bus service running to Hexham and Newcastle if driving is a problem. The local taxi service is good and local pubs and takeaways cater for all tastes.

its unique selling point is the fact that each of the 3 bedrooms is en suite . furthermore it has its own off road parking right in the centre of corbridge where most street parking is metered. ideally positioned, most restaurants and the coop supermarket are close by. An owner who was welcoming without being intrusive and immediately replaced without charge the glass i broke. the property is well maintained and well supplied. Sheets, towels etc are by Christy A degree in technology is however required to operate the washer! dryer!!

The caring and friendly, informative attention from the owner was excellent. We immediately felt at home in this property, the three en-suites particularly useful! Superb location for local transport [Buses from the door and regular train services to Newcastle and Carlisle.]Only a short journey from the village is the Corbridge Roman Town...well worth a visit. Also within easy reach are many National Trust,English Heritage properties and of course ,the beautiful Northumbrian coast. Hidden gems in the village from bijou boutiques, gift shops,an antiques centre and endless choices of places to eat...from the local pub to award winning international restaurants. This property is great value for money and when time permits we hope to return!

We (family of four) spent a lovely 11 days here. It was warm, comfortable and relaxing. It is very well furnished and has a lovely, light spacious feel. It's position in the centre of a picturesque village is excellent and yet it is only minutes away from the countryside and tourist facilities such as an English Heritage Roman site. We would definitely recommend it.

We were a party of three couples, The property offered excellent standard of furnishing and fittings. The sitting room and bedrooms were spacious , The owner of the property came around one evening to ensure we were happy with the property, He was friendly and informative about the village and surrounding area. Plenty of hot water which is appreciated when six people want to use the showers at the same time. Parking for three cars at the rear of the property The only problem was that one week it not long enough in this beautiful area.

A first class holiday flat.

Our recent stay in The Old Exchange in Corbridge was a first class experience from the very first moment. Situated above an art gallery in the heart of the small and very picturesque town of Corbridge, this apartment was furnished to a very high degree throughout. We had a choice of any one of three beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms and both of us being keen cooks we found the kitchen contained everything we would need during our stay. The welcoming owner not only gave us exceptionally concise directions as to ease our finding both apartment and parking space but in addition, having known that we were staying especially for our 25th wedding anniversary, had left a selection of goodies for us along with a most unexpected bottle of rather good bubbly! In addition he called us to arrange a quick courtesy visit during our holiday both to meet us and to check that we were content with the apartment. Indeed we were. We would heartily recommend both this apartment and the town of Corbridge to anyone looking for quality accommodation with excellent facilites close at hand.
