The Neale

This house was like a fairy tale to see! Family's reaction: it looks like a Hansel and Gretel house :-) Everything you need is there, even a washing machine and dryer. I did miss a drying rack. And you do the dishes by hand, but that's no problem. Showering in the bath, but that's fine, especially because it's an excellent shower. There's a great restaurant in the village: Piccola Sophia. Had two delicious meals. A lot of driving because of the distances, but that's Ireland.

A beautiful, authentic cottage. Very comfortable. There is no TV, which didn't bother us too much, but might be useful during a wet week!

Small but very beautiful. Maureen, who takes care of the guests on site, is very friendly and engaging. We arrived very late. She was present without a murmur when the keys were handed over and instructed us. The house has a small additional bed in the living room, but is not for tall people (about 1.70 m). It is very quiet and secluded. We felt very comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet cosy cottage that was a perfect base for us to explore the beauty of mayo. M. our host was very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return.

Stereotypical Irish cottage. We would definitely stay there again. Especially if there was a proper shower tap and not the rubber hose that fits over the bath taps

We had a wonderful week in a fantastic traditional cottage. The thatched roof, Flag floors and half doors all add to the experience. Very comfortable accommodation for 2adults in a very quiet location (you need a car). XXX and her husband made our visit very easy and welcoming with flowers and chocolates to greet us on arrival. Local pub 1.0 mile away sells great XXX worth the walk!!
