The town is home to a range of quaint shops, pubs, and holds a market day every Thursday where you can pick up some fresh produce. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the local area including three golf courses, tennis, riding, fishing and a variety of riverside and country walks, as well as Kendal and Settle being within driving distance!
