The Log Cabin was ideally located for my planned exploration of Shropshire and Herefordshire historical sites.. The cabin itself was very well equipped and so comfortable it was a home from home. From booking the holiday to collecting the keys from the owner and then handing the keys back the whole experience was one of ease and comfort. Thank you for making my weeks holiday a memorable and enjoyable one.

The Log Cabin is small but well-thought-out, ideal for one or two people.. The setting is private, although near the owner's house. The owners are friendly but unobtrusive. Very central for local walking in the Welsh Hills, Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge, but reasonably near Ludlow where there's plenty of shopping for food etc. Recommended.

We would recommend the cottage to other people.. The only reason we're not going back is because we like to try other places. The cottage was very homely. Our only negative comments were the mattress was very hard and we both had sore backs in the morning. Also the water heater only heated enough water for a brief shower but it was adequate. The owners kindly put £5 in the electricity meter for us which takes £1 coins. We only needed to feed £2 into the meter towards the end of the week. The owners also kindly left us 4 fresh eggs from their white Bantam chicken which were delicious. We loved the chickens and the view from the kitchen window. The small court yard garden off the patio was also really nice and we enjoyed watching the birds on the feeder. Great bolt hole for a relaxing break of 5 nights with peace and quiet to read and chill out. Really good access to some stunning surrounding countryside walks and pretty traditional medieval English towns if you have a car. Very happy!

One of those special properties which you feel comfortable in as soon as you get there. It had a brilliantly well equipped kitchen. We hope to go back again, and we do not usually rebook the same cottage.

Good accommodation, helpful owners, excellent setting. The owners extremely welcoming and helpful, they managed to leave us to ourselves even though the Cabin was so close to their own house. They said we could use the garden as our own which was great, although we had our own private area. They provided everything we could need on holiday, including washing line and pegs. We plan to return and explore even more of the area from what proved to be a great base.

Our holiday was great. We enjoyed the peace and quiet surroundings around us. The kids enjoyed the nature and the secret garden attached to the cottage with our regular barbecues. They also had the chance to have some swimming lessons at the leisure centre. A lot to see and explore, villages that you can visit while planning your circular walks. Horse riding and biking facilities close by. Simply a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

A real home from home, there was nothing that we could have wanted for - owners friendly and very accommodating. Fresh eggs, milk, orange juice and a huge vase of flowers awaited us on arrival. There was spare toothbrushes etc. in the bathroom. I invited my parents and sister over for supper one evening and we found all the dishes and plates we needed to put on a buffet type spread for them too. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cottage fitted out as a home from home rather than with the usual cheap and cheerful, sterile and basic minimum one tends to get in a holiday cottage.

We had an absolutely wonderful week holiday at the log cabin. It is set in wonderful surroundings and was very peaceful and relaxing. The secret garden was lovely, watching the family of blue tits and seeing the free range hens roaming about in the family's garden from our kitchen window was a delight. It surpassed our expectations and was just what we needed.
