Six miles outside of Bodmin, the small villages of Roche and Lanivet each have a few shops and pubs to offer visitors. Roche's lush surroundings provide the perfect setting for escaping the rigours of everyday life. Bodmin Moor and the north coast's rocky coves and towering cliffs are also within easy reach, and there are lots of hiking options. The Eden Project, Charlestown, Mevagissey, and the Roseland peninsula are all close by and offer family-friendly activities.
