The Hayloft is a lovely barn conversion situated close the village of Burneside and the town of Kendal on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The cottage can sleep five people in two king-size double bedrooms, both with en-suites and the property also has a single adult folding bed. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area and woodburner. Outside there is ample off road parking and an enclosed decked garden with furniture. The Hayloft is a luxurious property and ideal for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite bath, shower over, walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with single adult folding bed and woodburning stove.

The thriving Lakeland village of Burneside is situated just three miles from Kendal, and seven miles from Windermere, in a quiet and peaceful valley. Its near neighbour, Kendal, is known as the southern Gateway to the Lakes. Visit the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, or explore Levens Hall, with its world famous topiary gardens.

The Hayloft is a beautifully presented stone cottage situated in a quiet picturesque setting just outside of Kendal.. It has everything you could possibly need and has the most amazing bathrooms. We would highly recommend staying at the Hayloft and would love to return very soon.

This is a very nice cottage situated just away from Windermere with easy access across the lakes.. Beautifully comfortable beds and fabulous bathrooms with both bedrooms. We would be more than willing and happy to stay again for our regular visit to the lakes.

Hayloft is a great base for exploring The Lake District.. The owners were on hand if we had any queries and the cottage was situated in beautiful countryside. It was lovely watching the birds feeding in the garden and not hearing buses going pass at all hours. So peaceful. The ensuite bathrooms were fabulous and walk in showers great. The only observation here is that a grab rail and shower mat would have been useful but no complaints about the standard of the bathrooms. We wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely cottage again and this is also backed up by other comments in the visitors book.

The Hayloft in the Lake District was absolutely amazing! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The cottage itself was immaculate and suited every need and had plenty of character. The surrounding area was beautiful, and not being too far from the lakes was ideal. I am very happy after returning from this holiday and would highly recommended using Sykes Cottages.

The house was extremely comfortable, large rooms, very clean and there was even a train set for our little one to play with.. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was an added plus. The host was really nice as well and very helpful. One suggestion we would like to make is to provide WiFi.

This was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped.. The bathrooms were gorgeous, especially with the heated flooring! The owner was great, she was very helpful and kind. She dropped by after we had arrived to check everything was ok and we asked if there was an iron. She said no, but that she could pick one up. A few hours later - an iron had appeared! Fantastic!

The cottage was excellent quality and the website is very easy to use and very informative.. I have the app and have just booked another holiday using it and it worked well. Only thing to mention if we were to be completely nit picky is that it would have been nice to have a decent chef's knife in the kitchen for cooking.. Other than that, everything was great!

This cottage is one of the best that we have ever stayed in.. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. It also had lots of room for our small daughter to run around in. All in all a wonderful place to stay.
