This East Lothian village sits 20 miles from Edinburgh, a lovely holiday base. Gifford offers a small selection of shops, a pub/restaurant, a café and two golf courses. It boasts a parish church and a town hall. For a wider choice, Haddington is four miles away, sat on the River Tyne and has a golf course. The coast and beach at Luffness is ten miles away. Edinburgh is worth a visit as it hosts beautiful buildings, amenities and parks and gardens.
