The capital of Coquetdale, Rothbury is a pretty market town that is located near Northumberland's National Park, which guarantees superb walking trails. The steep main streets are lined with stone houses, a typical feature of this region and there is a good variety of shops. There are also great gardens to explore Cragside and Alnwick Castle.
