The flat is a little god send.. It's location is fantastic with a view to Ben Nevis but also you are within reach of alot more places you wish to go. Moira is lovely and can also give you advice on just about anything.

Just what we wanted, had everything.. Great location and ideal for walks from the door even to the North Face ascent and if feeling more energetic The Ben Nevis Inn ascent. The Flat very cosy for 2 plus

The Garden Flat has everything you need - a home from home.. The owner made us feel very welcome and was very friendly and helpful with ideas and suggestions. The garden was secure to let our dog in to and the beautiful Scottish countryside was just a short walk up the road. A perfect destination with a garden view of Ben Nevis just 5 minutes drive. Garden full of wildlife, elusive red squirrels, woodpeckers and a host of other birds and fauna.

Lovely little flat just outside Fort William.. We had to cut it short due to work commitments and the hosts were very understanding. Very clean and tidy and had everything we could want. Fantastic walks straight from the front door. Will hopefully be able to come back and finish the holiday!

The flat itself is equipped to the highest standard with everything that you could possibly need.. Watching the birds feeding was brilliant from the window, I personally found it very therapeutic and hypnotic, I could’ve watched them all day. The location is fantastic, the walks nearby were great for us and our 2 little dogs. We are not ardent hill walkers or climbers, we just appreciate all the scenery that this area of the Highlands offers. Glen Nevis and the mountains are the main draw, but there are so many journeys nearby within a couple of hours or less that are outstanding by car, the journey between Fort William and Mallaig is literally draw dropping, with lots of wildlife seen including deer, mountain goats etc, and popping over to the Cairngorms or Pitlochry are great too, this journey past the dam is another beautiful route to travel. Mo the owner is one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever come across, and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment of booking, right through to arriving. Just can’t express our gratitude enough for a wonderful 7 days, in a wonderful location surrounded by wonderful scenery, and a wonderful kind host. Highly recommend

Really not impressed.. It is day 3 of being woken up by the owners dogs running like a herd of elephants over the top. It is 3am and I have been woken yet again after coming here to escape the London noise. You should mention the lack of sound proofing and extremely noisy neighbor. I am consequently not enjoying my stay and I am beginning to get unwell from sleep deprivation. The other night we were woken at 12am and I was rudely awoken in the morning the day before. It is absolutely not acceptable. How will you compensate me for lost holiday time?

The owners are real dog friendly people who genuinely want your pet to enjoy their time away with you.. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend The Garden Flat to anyone who wants to relax and be close to nature, whilst close to lots of wonderful places to visit. We will definitely be returning to this little gem in the countyside.

Absolutely superb accommodation, the location and scenery was breathtaking.. Parking space for 2 cars, lovely private courtyard, quite a suntrap. The area is wonderful for touring and exploring. I especially loved the trip to Skye . It took about 2to 3 hours the scenery is awesome. Fort William is about 3 miles in from torlundy, many places to go and enjoy a meal. The owner is so welcoming and helpful.

So great position to do a spot of touring around the Highlands .. The cottage is up a quiet road ( but not too far ) .and is a bit of a sun trap providing you get the sun which we did for most of the week .It's the luck of the draw as these things have to be booked a long way in advance.Fort William is just 5 minuets away by car ,We did Malaig twice ,once to take the ferry to Skye and then a bus ride to Portree although this is a very limited service. You can take your car but you must book on this route or be disappointed. We also had a very good meal ( at pub prices ) at the Crofter's bar and restaurant in Fort William .again book or you might find yourself hungry and in a queue..We enjoyed a walk to the river from the cottage ,take a sandwich and drink ,there is one picnic table .We found the cottage had everything that you would need for a holiday,The bed was very comfortable and the shower invigorating.everthing worked and the owner is on site if you have any quire's or problems .Off street parking as well..Oh and there is the commando memorial at Spein Bridge ,take five minutes to peruse the memorial garden.that generation gave so much!

The Garden Flat is wonderful.. On arrival there was cake, flowers, dog treats, milk and tea waiting for us. The flat is cozy and warm with underfloor heating and everything you could need is catered for, a real home from home. Mo and David are extremely kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and there is lots to see and do in the area. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Arrived Saturday afternoon, after a 6 hour drive from West Yorkshire, to a lemon drizzle cake and a bowl of dog treats, which was a lovely welcoming touch.. There was also tea coffee and milk so if you hadn't packed it yourself you could have a brew before unpacking. The garden flat was bigger than I thought it would be. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 labradors. Kitchen had everything you needed, including a slow cooker. It also had a nice enclosed courtyard garden with views of the Nevis range. Torlundy is at the base of the north face approach to Ben Nevis, if you like climbing, so very handy. There are several lower level walks in the area too. There's no shops in the area so you have to drive into Fort William if you want anything. Moira the owner was very nice, asking if we'd had a nice day and what we'd enjoyed. Overall we had a nice comfortable week.

I enjoyed my week at the garden cottage.. I was on a walking exploring holiday. The cottage is well equipped. Warm underfloor heating great bathroom and shower. Every day Moria the owner sprinkled more bird seed in the garden I could watch the birds in the morning and late afternoon when back from walking.

Fantastic little space.. We had our cat and Springer Spaniel with us. They both settled very well. Underfloor heating was a treat to come back to after a day out in the cold of Fort William. Nice and tidy. We’ll definitely be going back in the future.

We had a very nice holiday at the Garden Flat.. Moira is a very welcoming hostess and this cottage apartment is perfectly equipped and clean. We had some problems with on line-booking, probably because we were using a Belgian credit card? We are very happy we rented this place, it was exactly what we were looking for.
Mrs Stienlet, July 2016

The Garden Flat was clean, well equipped and peaceful.. The scenery was very beautiful. We had a view of Ben Nevis and our hosts gave us plenty of tips and helpful directions for lovely walks known to locals. We had a lovely break and would definitely recommend The Garden Flat to anyone wanting to visit this area.
