Had a lovely relaxing week at The Bungalow.. Pictures don’t do it justice, much more modern now. Beautiful surroundings, friendly gorgeous cats and animals. Had a lovely welcome food parcel too with fresh bread, eggs, butter, milk, fruit and wine!! Would love to come back!

Generally loved this cottage - very quiet and peaceful.. I am always a bit wary of renting a cottage with owners close by but Margaret and Brian were perfect hosts - helpful but left us on our own. The sitting area is by necessity quite small which with 4 dogs was occasionally a little difficult - they learnt to back out of corners very successfully! The horse over the fence did on occasions shatter the peace with dogs barking! The utility area is a godsend with muddy dogs who loved the walk from the door onto the common! ( beware of sheep hiding behind gorse bushes!) A slightly larger area of enclosed garden would have made a good garden perfect! Overall a really good cottage to stay in especially with large numbers of dogs!

Lovely location for a peaceful week.. Cottage is well equipped and clean and the owners had thoughtfully left some welcome items. Rear garden is secure and as a result is great for the dogs. In a perfect world, the far side of the cottage (bedroom side) would also be fenced as part of the garden and the cottage would have a wood burner or open fire for cosiness. We would happily stay here again. Local top tip is the Bennett's End pub for Sunday lunch: friendly locals, good food, and dogs welcome in the bar.

The owners have obviously updated the accommodation since the photos were taken and the living room furnishings in particular, were of a much higher standard than we anticipated.. The owners were very friendly and the welcome pack of food and wine was a treat. The whole accommodation was set up with a dog-loving family in mind and the curious alpacas added interest. Although set in a beautiful rural location, Ludlow was not far for supermarket shops and the scenery in the general locale was breathtaking. I would recommend The Bungalow to anyone wanting peace, quiet and a lovely area to walk their dogs.

The showers were a little bit slippery due to the tiled floor and step up into the shower which was also tiled so care is needed when using.. The bungalow is in a beautiful setting with a group of Alpacas on the other side of the fence who were very curious but friendly! If a quiet holiday is needed then the bungalow is the ideal place to stay.

Lovely holiday bungalow in a lovely quiet location.. Comfortable beds and comfy sofas to relax on. Lovely outlook and apart from the occasional neigh from one of the horses it was so quiet and relaxing. Our daughters dog, Jazz thoroughly enjoyed herself ,although she didn't know what to make of the strange animals just over the fence, that would be the Llamas. She is so brave she just stood and watched them until the day before we went home when she summoned up the courage to run up to the fence and bark at them, but they just stood and looked at her. Family had a few trips into Ludlow, mainly so that the dog could go stand in the river that runs through there, being a dog friendly town the were plenty of other dogs to talk to. Grandaughter had a day out at the West Midland Safari park and the amusement park attached to it, had a super day there. I think the only down side was that some of the kitchen equipment could do with upgrading. Mainly the frying pans. Other than that we would be more than happy to stay at The Bungalow again. we would be more than happy to stay there agin.

Lovely, peaceful, rural setting.. The bungalow was so spacious with two shower rooms and two separate toilets. The beds were very comfortable, the best we have had in rented accommodation, previously having had unaired bedding an lumpy, uncomfortable mattresses. It was well furnished and spotlessly clean, and had a good sized well enclosed garden, safe for small dogs. The owner was very welcoming, and had provided a lovely welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs, milk, wine and an enormous basket of assorted fruit. Coffee and tea was also provided. I would highly recommend a stay there.

I live on Exmoor so I like to choose special places to holiday! The bungalow was really comfortable and dog friendly, lovely alpacas just outide the well fenced garden boundary, kept us entertained. I am not quite sure who was watching whom really! They would watch us moving around the dining room/lounge and showed great interest if we were washing up in the kitchen! Delightful animals. The beds were comfortable, and we were cosy and warm. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The owners were very welcoming and left some very welcome goodies for our arrival. I particularly enjoye walking from the door with my dog. There was direct access to the Moorland. Out and about there are some interesting places to visit. We enjoyed. Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow, Cosford Aircraft Museum, Clun, Stokesay Castle, Tenbury Wells and lots of places in between. There is a vast amount info. available in the bungalow. To be honest, I think we would have enjoyed a second week! Would we rent this again? Definitely.

This was a flying visit of just three days during Crufts but we would have loved to have stayed longer. The Bungalow is clean, spacious, airy and very well equipped. We had an excellent nights sleep. The beds were very comfortable. The outlook is very scenic, made even better by the presence of the Alpaca's! The owners are such a nice welcoming couple. They even provided a fresh fruit bowl, bottle of wine (much appreciated!), fresh eggs and milk. A great place to stay.

The Bungalow was extremely comfortable and ideally designed for us my 90 year old Mum; with 2 double bedrooms next to each other; these both had their own shower room toilet. Each bedroom had double aspect windows doors out into the garden as did the lounge. The owner was extremely pleasant and always available should we need any help but otherwise unobtrusive save bumping into them whilst walking. There is lots of information booklets suggestions of places to visit. The scenery as we drove through the National Park was lovely with the sheep very peaceful to observe.

This was a most excelent cottage, it had everything we needed and more. It was more out of the way than we usually stay in or so we thought when trying to get there following the SatNav (taking us down all the narrow roads and tracks) but really was only 4 miles from a small town with all the amenaties needed. The cottage itself had 4 really good sized bedrooms with really really comfortable beds, so much so you really dont want to get out. the gardens both fornt and back were great for letting the dogs run around and play, ours were having a daily 'chat' with the owners dogs. The kitchen was very well equiped and the welcome pack that was left was greatly appreciated, loads of fruit, eggs and milk. We found an great little pub for meals which we visited nightly, The Stables Tavern in Cleobury Mortimer. It is out off the way and we only found it when we were looking for a car park for the pub (The Talbot Hotel). The meals were big and tasty and not expensive. The bungalow ideally situated to visit many places of interest including Ludlow with its many Tudor Houses and its castle, the countryside is lovely just to drive around in. We also visited Llandrindod Wells in Wales which is a nice little spa town and found a little cafe by the lake (The Lakehouse) where we stopped to have lunch, again a great find as it the food was very good. Although on the day we went it was raining but was still a nice trip. I would highly reccommend this cottage/bungalow and will be visiting again sometime in the future.

This is probably the best holiday let in the world; it offers peace and quiet but is fairly close to several cities. It is exceptionally comfortable and well appointed. The owners are close by if needed but never intruded. Little extras like milk/fruit/wine show the professionalism of the owners. I would recommend this cottage to anyone/everyone!

The location was so quiet and close to so much of interest in this beautiful County, as well as good walks. There was a wonderful quantity of towels, sensibly all different colours and lovely quality, comfortable beds and top-quality bed-linen. The space in the bungalow, the warmth constant hot water and the family-sized fridge/freezer was also much-appreciated, as was the fact there was a tumbler dryer.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the bungalow was excellent. We initially chose the bungalow because it was pet friendly and with walks on the doorstep it proved brilliant On arrival we were greeted by the owner, and once inside we were so pleasantly surprised to find some great provisions, eggs, bread, btter and fruit which was a lovely touch. The bungalow was clean and tidy and being down a private drive made it perfect, we really enjoyed our stay in a great part of the country.
