What a find, Tawny Cottage was perfect, cosy and quaint, spotlessly clean, with a fabulous enclosed sun trap front that meant our dog could wander around at her leisure, the cottage was ideally located and meant we visited everywhere we wanted to go to in North Norfolk, all the local amenities you could want were in the village, including a local bakers, chip shop, Tesco local and a couple of pubs, would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Norfolk

We had a lovely stay at the charming Tawny Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a spacious outdoor seating area in the lovely garden with off-road parking right outside. It is in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants and amenities but is extremely quiet. The beautiful Heacham beach is within walking distance with Snettisham and Hunstanton being only a short drive away. We had a great time exploring North Norfolk with visits to Sandringham, Wells next the Sea and Holkham and hubby especially enjoyed the golf at Heacham Manor. We’re looking forward to visiting again.

Tawny Cottage is extremely clean and comfortable and is the perfect place to relax. The front garden stays sunny all day long so we ate breakfast and dinner out there most days. The house has all the amenities you could want in a holiday rental and is very homey. I would say it is actually even cosier than it looks in the pictures. There are some really fantastic farm shops in this area too, so we ate very well in our time there. The Cottage's location makes it the perfect base for exploring this part of Norfolk. We cycled to the beach a number of times (in under 10 mins), and drove to the RSPB reserve for a lovely walk. Thornham, Burnham Market, and Holt are all within driving distance, so there are plenty of lovely Georgian towns to explore nearby if you want to go further than Heacham and Hunstanton. We really enjoyed exploring the area and would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely few days catching up with old friends at this cosy and comfortable cottage. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you might need for your holiday. There are great places to visit near by for nice long walks; punctuated by the occasional pub! We also had some fantastic meals at the Rose & Crown and the Duck Inn all just a short drive away. Definitely hope to return some day.

Have just returned from a week at Tawney cottage. Lovely, cosy and well appointed in a great location within the village. Heacham has all that you need and close by too. The village has beaches and walks nearby and is ideally placed for touring this lovely corner of Norfolk.

Great cottage, has everything you need and recently renovated includes new central heating, bathroom, cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Has 2 leather sofas and is so cozy and comfortable. 15 minutes walk to the sea and 3 minutes walk to mini Tesco, Indian and fish and chip shop. We will definitely be back.

A charming, beautifully clean, immaculate and well-appointed two-bedroom cottage in a very quiet part of Heacham village, not very far away from Heacham beach. Situated very near to the post office, Tesco Express, bakery, lovely fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant. There is also a large Lidl a short drive away, so there is no need to take any food with you. Despite being close to these amenities, the cottage is extremely peaceful. The cottage was lovely and cool in the recent hot weather, with thick walls and stone tile flooring throughout the ground floor. The front door opens into a good sized sitting room, with comfortable leather sofas, Smart TV, Alexa and lovely electric stove. The cottage has a lovely, well equipped kitchen/diner and downstairs WC. Upstairs are two extremely comfortable, clean bedrooms and a very lovely bathroom with shower and bath. There is lots of storage space for clothes and cases. What we really appreciated about this property is that the owner ensures that everything is supplied - condiments, bin bags, kitchen/toilet rolls, tea and coffee, washing up liquid, soaps etc and we really didn't, need to take very much with us at all. Communication with the owners was easy and they gave us lots of useful information. This is a perfect place to chill out. There is a little garden, front and back to sit in, both of which are perfect little sun traps. The cottage has off-road parking in front of the garden fence too, which is a bonus in a busy village. The cottage makes for a great, comfortable base to explore the surrounding area (and there's plenty to see and do for anyone staying here) and families with children would have a wonderful time. We had a lovely week here and would be more than happy to come back or recommend it to anyone else - 10/10

Lovely stay at Tawny Cottage! Perfectly located - nice and quiet and within walking distance to Heacham beach and Hunstanton. The cottage was very cosy, clean, has a fully kitted out kitchen, new bathroom & has convenient parking. Lots of nice pubs nearby. Would highly recommend the kayaking in Hunstanton & the Rose & Crown pub! We look forward to our next stay.

We had a fantastic week in Tawny Cottage. A cosy and comfortable cottage which is home from home. Everything you require in the lounge area to a fully equipped kitchen, upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms and large bathroom. Parking to the front of the cottage which was ideal when packing the car for days out. Located on the High Street with all amenities and surprisingly quiet. Fantastic beaches nearby, Heacham, Snettisham, and Hunstanton. Norfolk Lavender and the Deer Park at Snettisham are worth a visit. Further afield and along the coast Wells next the sea, Holkham, Blakeney, and Clay next the sea are all beautiful places to visit. We loved the cottage and area so much that we are returning in September. Tawny Cottage is the ideal place to relax whilst visiting the North Norfolk coast and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely old fashioned style cottage, everything you could want is included with a downstairs toilet which is unusual in these cottages. Very quite position with off-road parking but near to all you need. Just of the Main Street in this lovely village, walking distance to the beach and Hunstanton, local shops are excellent with a Tesco Express 5minutes away. Restaurants in abundance, Chinese, Indian and local pubs to be enjoyed. Nearby are all the stunning villages to visit with their beautiful beaches to enjoy. Well worth a visit.

A Lovely charming cottage to stay in, with lovely decor to suit the cottage, you have all the up to date gadgets like a smart tv so you add your Netflix or Amazon prime account to watch your favourites on tv, there is even an Alexa that can play music for you if your staying in and enjoying a nice meal. Everything is there for you, from a big bath tub with new modern fittings down to tin foil and utensils in the kitchen, The only thing you may need to take is a compact bbq which we used at the front of the property, I had a few bbqs and had my dinner at the front with the table chairs and umbrella which had been provided, Heacham Beach is only a 20min walk from the cottage or there is a bus service into Hunstanton which is roughly 5miles away, if you fancy a take away you have a highly popular fish and chips shop 5 mins walk away or a Indian next door to the chop shop. If you need shopping you have a small Tesco express close to the fish and chips shop, as well as a Big Lidl 5 mins drive around the corner, everything is a close proximity from the cottage. I would definitely plan on visiting Tawny Cottage again, it’s been a lovely experience.
