Embrace the great outdoors with a guided reserve tour and spot the wild Exmoor ponies that roam this magnificent landscape – there are wellies and raincoats to borrow should the weather take a turn. Then reward yourself with an evening of pampering at the farm estate's on-site spa (think Cleopatra copper milk and flower baths) – it's just a thirty-second walk from your door.

When it comes to the day's end, enjoy long summer nights in the 18th century walled garden beside the firepit.
