Swift barn is a beautiful semi-detached barn conversion near the town of Brixham in the English Riviera. Host to three bedrooms comprising of two super king-size doubles and one twin sleeping a total of six people. You will also find an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside is a shared garden and summer house. Swift barn is surrounded by vivacious landscape, the perfect escape to the country, for families and/or friends.

Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor super king-size double 1 x super king-size double (zip/link) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x super king-size double (zip/link) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.

Area
Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Just home after a fabulous stay at Swift barn. There is only one negative thing i can say and that's the coming home. The barn is truly amazing, has all the home comforts you could wish for, the beds are huge and comfortable. Lovely walks on your doorstep. You will not be disappointed if you book here, I can highly recommend

Had a great family holiday, friendly and welcoming hosts.. A superb barn conversion and a great base for touring Devon, in particular; Salcombe, Dartmouth and Torquay. Would certainly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation.. Immaculate and extremely well furnished and equipped we loved it and will definitely return. The barn conversion has been carried out to a high standard and the rooms are spacious and extremely homely too. The owners were friendly and very helpful. And although they live next door they are not intrusive and leave you to get on with your holiday. Lemon drizzle cake left for us to enjoy with a cuppa on arrival was delicious and a lovely touch. Excellent location too, although in the country surrounded by fields and farm animals in a couple of minutes there are shops and restaurants.

This holiday was excellent from the start to the end.. The accommodation was first class we would highly recommend this property to family and friends. Again Sykes came up trumps with excellent accommodation at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to booking another holiday through Sykes.

We were contacted by the owner at the beginning of the week before we were due to arrive which was a nice touch.. Arrived on the day to find an amazing property that was exactly as described. The owners met us and explained all about the heating and where to find bags to sort rubbish out and explained where we could park, and that if we had any problems we could either phone them or knock on their door. We were left a wonderful lemon drizzle cake, tea coffee and biscuits and milk in the fridge. The owners were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The property was very high standards with lovely furniture and bedding. We will visit again if we are down that way.

Booked this wonderful property for a weeks stay for husbands birthday and invited friends to stay. The high quality barn was really comfortable and beautifully furnished. It had 3 en-suite rooms with king size beds that could be changed to twin if needed, and were extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were all a great size with a flat screen tv. There was a laundry room with washer and tumble dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. Lots of space so that six adults were not under each others feet. Wifi was great and also you could use Netflix on the TV. There was underfloor heating downstairs which made the property really comfortable. The owners could not do enough for you and we’re on site to help in anyway they could. We said the only thing missing was a full length mirror and the next day we were given one. If your looking for a great week away you will not be disappointed with the area really quiet and only a short drive to Brixham and Torquay. The owners left milk in the fridge and a wonderful lemon drizzle cake was waiting for us. Would we go back - Absolutely if we are down that way again ...thank you Both - the Abbotts
