The accommodation was very good in terms of space, comfort, equipment and location.. The village shop and restaurants, of which Ty Mawr was the best in our opinion, were within easy walking distance. Access to the beach by car was £7.50 a day at the nearby Shell Island camping site but cheap and easy at Llandanwg and Harlech within a ten minute drive north. Lots of attractive walking country inland from the house up the pretty Artro valley. An excellent base for Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway trips too starting thirty minutes away at Porthmadog via the new bridge at Perhyndeudraeth.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.. The log cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and was a great base for us to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location Llanbedr superb base balcony gets sun in afternoon so great for .... Great location Llanbedr superb base balcony gets sun in afternoon so great for relaxing with a drink after a days exploring
The lodge we stayed in was as described and very well equipped.. It was in lovely small village which had two hotels both with bar/restaurant a pub, shop and cafe. We have a dog and all were dog friendly and had a good meal in the Hafan Artro. We would happily stay here again.
Excellent property well suited to our needs ground floor bedroom and bathroom plus two large bedrooms upstairs with en-suite shower and toilet facilities.. Wifi and a porch which is perfect for relaxing with a brew.
Ten minutes in the car to the closest beach and some good walks available from the front door.
A nice football area for the children on site, in short enjoyed by all three generations of the family and we would use again.
Good facilities and comfort however Lodge was dark inside even during day and we had to have lights on to read.. Television signal also dropped out a lot and we missed some goals during the World Cup. Good location for touring the area
Spacious and well sited for evening sun.. 1 Inn and2 Hotels in village.
Handy for train and bus.
Scenic lane leading out of the village
to the Rhinog mountains.
