This property was disappointing it looked bigger on the photos you could hardly swing a cat in the double bedroom! It could do with a deep clean. We found hairs in the bath plug hole etc. We use sykes alot and we think this was not one of your best properties advertised. On the plus it had everything you needed in the kitchen and the bed was clean and comfortable. Nice soft towels.

After the initial shock of how small the cottage was, we were pleasantly surprised to find it well equipped, but in need of a some TLC.. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable, there was absolutely no privacy, if you did a little bit of washing you had to hang it outside in front of the house, where you could also sit in full view of everyone. It looked neglected outside, there were four or five pots full of weeds, when you walked down the road and saw some of the other holiday rentals with lovely gardens and pots of flowers, which also gave a bit of privacy, you realise how sad our little cottage was. I would not book it again, as we usually do when we find somewhere we like especially in such a beautiful area,or recommend it.

This is the second occasion we have used Sykes and we continue to be impressed with the level of service we have received.. Our original contact was very efficiently dealt with by a most helpful and friendly lady so the overall experience has been most pleasing ; we would be happy to recommend Sykes to any friends looking for a self-catering holiday.

Sunrise cottage was very good would certainly book again idea for a small young family.. Having booked several cottages before where dealing with the owners direct was sometimes difficult and can cast a shadow over a family holiday the fact that this was booked through Sykes Cottages gave a little more confidence that things would go well

Sorry for the delay.. Id like to tell you about our experience at SUNRISE COTTAGE.BEADNELL.23 TO 30TH JUNE.we were very surprised how small the cottage was .the kitchen was like a very small passage.the main bedroom was a tight squeez to walk around .the second bedroom was the smallest room in the bunglow. the bed mattresses in the bunk beds were bad you could feel every springs in them.thay were terrible i didnt have a good sleep at all.dont get me wrong the bunglow was clean.we just think the bungiow was not worth the money we paid.

The process of booking the cottage through Sykes Cottages was really quick and simple.. Sunrise Cottage had everything you could possibly need and was in the perfect place for exploring the area. Beautifully quiet and comfortable, I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful, clean cottage in excellent, quiet location.. Owners have ensured that everything you would need for a stay is catered for from kitchen utilities to cleaning products to board games for those rainy evenings to utilities for a day at the beach - fantastic.
