Whimsical is the best way to describe it – vines and flowers climb the stone walls while pebble pathways lead to hidden patios tucked away behind verdant plants. Laze on the hammock with a good book, fire up the grill for a summer barbecue and gather around the fire pit when the sun goes down. We love the interior, too – warm, inviting and snug, the sitting room is ideal for chilled evenings at home. Rustle up a meal in the country-style kitchen – best shared around the rustic dining table – before nodding off in the comfortable bedrooms. Chipping Norton is a bustling market town with an array of pubs, restaurants and independent shops all just a short walk away. Whether you drive into town or catch the train into nearby Kingham, this spot is ideal for exploring the postcard-perfect Cotswolds villages.
