Met all our expectations with the addition that internet access was available.. The owners were next door and very friendly and helpful. To start us off some Eggs, tea, coffee, wine, milk etc were provided as an extra. David and Miriam were also helpful in providing advice on local places and recommending the beach at Combe Martin. The location on a farm seems remote but is central for a number of attractions and handy for walking on Exmoor while being restfully secluded. We had a delightful weeks break. Brian and maureen

This cottage was central to everywhere we wanted to visit.. It was peaceful even with the cows in the background. The owners had left us with nice little touches like flowers, wine, milk, and other bits. Would definitely stay there again!

As the property is on a working farm it is in a very rural area which we loved, but some people would find the narrow country roads a bit of a handicap.. However one gets used to them very quickly. The owners are very friendly but allow you absolute privacy as during our week there we met only on arrival and when we went to greet and thank them on departure. We simply loved the place.

Had a very enjoyable holiday at Stagsholt , in a very quiet and peaceful location , soon got used to the narrow lanes , with only a fifteen minute drive from Tiverton.. The owners , are on site to give useful advice , provided a welcome pack , including tea , biscuits and a bottle of wine , which made for a relaxing first night. A good location for visiting local National Trust properties , and not far from Exeter , north and south coasts.

Great place, which was well presented, we loved the quiet and watching the birds on the farm.. The owners made us welcome and gave us good tips on the local area.

Miles from the hustle and bustle, down winding country lanes sits Stagholt Lodge...we couldn't believe it was part of a working farm...sometimes we saw a tractor, sometimes we heard a dog. We thought we lived in the peace and quiet until we came here...everything one could wish for in a holiday home. The downside was it was quite a journey to Tiverton to get a take away but don't let that put you off. A must visit is a trip on the horse drawn barge on the canal at Tiverton...a wonderful experience and staffed by friendly people.
