Stable Flat is a charming first floor stable block conversion, situated near the village of Scone, and a short drive from Perth, in Scotland. The property can sleep four people in two bedrooms, including a king-size double bedroom, a twin room, and a family bathroom. There is a kitchen, a sitting room with a dining area, and outside, shared formal gardens and off road parking for two cars. Perfect for couples, and families and friends, Stable Flat is a wonderful, relaxing retreat, ideal for exploring the south east of Scotland.

All first floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and sofa bed.

Area
The village of Scone sits two miles north of Perth, and is correctly called New Scone to differentiate it from Old Scone, which had been a medieval village based around the monastery of Scone Abbey and abandoned in the 19th century. Scone Palace dates from the early 1800s in the Georgian Gothic style and is a popular visitor attraction with rooms and grounds open to the public. There is a selection of local shops and amenities in Scone, as well as Perth Racecourse, the two 18-hole Murrayshall golf courses, and a wider range of shops available in nearby Perth. A wonderful base for exploring the south east of Scotland.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

I think the photos and description on Sykes' website don't do this place justice.. The apartment is set within the extensive grounds of a beautiful house and if you are a nature and animal lover it is the perfect place for a holiday. We absolutely loved visiting the horses in the stables right next to the apartment and the two gorgeous alpacas. We also had walks through the gardens up to the pinetum. The apartment itself was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable and very well equipped. If you are looking for a base to explore magnificent Perthshire I cannot recommend The Stables highly enough.

Beautiful flat in a beautiful location What a fantastic place! Stunning location with beautiful views. The flat had everything you could need and was very comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful (the eggs from his chickens were delicious!). We were visiting family in Perth so it was the perfect location for us. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

This was a last minute booking as my mother in law was seriously ill and we needed some accommodation urgently.. The lady we spoke to at Sykes could not have been more helpful, understanding or accommodating. A Special thanks to her.

Came down from Aberdeen & Mintlaw with my Mum & our dogs , for a little break away , beautiful setting very comfortable flat to stay the dogs hit use of their huge garden & lots of fun .. There is also a tennis court too if you like your sport . The owner was very nice & made sure we had everything & knew how everything worked , always very friendly . So close to Perth , Scone , Dundee , Tillicoultry & Stirling and loads of others too we just never had the time !! The only worry for me was my mum is 75 and still reasonably fit but the stairs up to the flat where for her a wee bit difficult . I’ll defiantly be returning would love to see it in summer . I’d give this a huge rating 10 stars !!!

Excellent base for exploring Scotland. Just a five minute drive from Perth. Property is located within the grounds of Bonhard House which enjoys acres of beautiful grounds and landscaped gardens. Will definately return.

A delightful flat within beautiful private grounds. Really enjoyed staying here, the weather definitely made it a memorable stay, as the grounds are absolutely beautiful for walking around in the evening before dinner. The colours were fantastic this year. The flat had all the necessary amenities.

We have just stayed at Stable Flat it was FABULOUS! What a lovely place to stay. Stable Flat is within a beautiful and expansive garden. The main house is a very impressive Jacobean manor house and the gardens are exceptional. The flat is calm, peaceful and warm with good quality furnishings and high quality kitchen equipment - it was delightful. The owners were caring and thoughtful but not intrusive. We would definitely return here on our next visit to Scotland.
