With thousands of hectares of moors and forest and surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, it makes the ideal place to stay, with numerous public footpaths and the well-known Scalby Beck winding its way to the coast. A weekly farmers market selling local produce is held in the grounds of St. Lawrence's Church Rooms. Scalby is a lovely retreat after a busy day out, with Scarborough on the doorstep, with its fine, sandy beaches, good restaurants, and bustling town centre!
