I was brought to stay in The Shepherds Hut as a birthday surprise and was overwhelmed with the stunning location plus the high spec, beautiful and comforting decor of this wonderful hut. It was a fantastic experience being so close to the scenic Shropshire countryside, wildlife and of course Molly - the gorgeous border collie farm dog! Derek the owner was so welcoming, helpful and friendly which gave the location a true home from home atmosphere. The isolation of the location only enhanced the experience, however it is close to Shrewsbury centre which is great a night out!

The location was fantastic and the shepards hut was really good and the owners very pleasent.. The kitchen and bathroom that went with this need some updateing, 2 odd mugs, odd plates, dirty tea towel, loo roll holder coming off the wall, shower rail coming off the wall, shower only large enough for 1 slim person ( we are both slim ) remember this is advertised as a romantic place to go, shower runs at either hot or cold no inbetween, no wifi and shower drain blocked. So lots of little things that need putting right but would love to return.

What a wonderful place for our 37 th anniversary, the hut was perfect. Wood burner was brilliant though you didn't need it on for too long to be melting. The area was secluded and quiet, absolutely perfect.

Wonderful accomadation in a beautiful location .. The owners gave a very warm welcome and were on hand if needed. The Shepherds Hut was very cozy and I would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway. Also spent a night in one of the other cottages on the farm which was fabulous .

What a lovely place - situated on a working farm (in the middle of what seems nowhere!) We arrived on a cold, damp night to be greeted by the wood burner roaring and homemade cake on the table! This is the cutest place I've ever stayed - a hut with a bed, two chairs and a woodburner - its perfect! We visted Irongorge and all its attractions (a lovey little town!) and had a totally relaxing few days - we'll definately go back so that we can make use of the small BBQ area! - A lovely place to relax, unwind and chill!!

This is the perfect spot for a couple, small but full of character, superbly finished and the perfect romantic getaway. The hut itself is just perfect, the little woodburner heats it up wonderfully and the quaintness makes for the perfect romantic setting. Tucked away from the farmhouse, it is wonderfully private and with fantastic views across the open farmland with the Wrekin as the backdrop. It is far enough outside Telford to feel totally isolated and out in the countryside while actually being only a very short taxi ride away. A wonderful place to stay and at a very good price, thank you Derick for a fantastic christmas week here and I look forward to my next visit.

We loved the cosiness of the Shepherds Hut. We were slightly concerned it would be chilly, as we stayed mid winter, but with the log burner going it was toasty! The bathroom, located in the converted barn, was super hot too, so our fears were completely unfounded.

Lovely, romantic property in a peaceful setting tucked away in stunning Shropshire countryside. Fantastic for a cosy getaway. The farmer was great, keeping us in fire wood, providing advice on walks and even cakes.
